  1. Interesting. Will be both in a matter of time. http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/brendan-dassey-murder-conviction-1.3719125
  2. Remington (Husky) might need a cooler built in sweater for this heat.
  3. Everything is great until the extra money needs to come from someone who was not expecting it.
  4. Yup, it depends on how the relationship ends.
  5. I think both Trump and Hillary are both a complete joke and I am not a supporter of either. I see Trump as the lessor of two evils though. I see it as renegotiating the extras that fall outside the original contract and worked on a project last year where both the mechanical and electrical contractors were asked to take about 70% of their extras they were claiming ( about 8 million in total). That is what I believe they settled on. For projects like these, Trump and most contractors will setup subsidiaries to protect themselves, ie Trump will protect his other assets from claims and contractors will protect the main business from lawsuits etc. Shit how many have expressed displeasure with CONtractors, but lets not go there. I am a contractor, but do not work or live in your world. My customers are mainly the F500 companies and mid sized players (> billion plus annual sales) and work in production based expansion or new construction projects. I automate the process that controls the production, so we kind of hold most of the cards. I will be paid, that is a given, unless the general or end user goes bankrupt. Would you take on a project run by the Clinton's?
  6. I been in business for over 20 years and I have been paid in full every time, but I still take out insurance when appropriate. The original OP story, the contractor was paid 11 out of 12 million for the work completed with the balance being deemed extras. He then went after his final payment (legitimately) and received 70% of the remaining 1 million owed. Why is this even news?
  7. Two Yutes eating out of the same bowl.
  8. So Robbie didn't say the things on the video they claimed he did. I was actually hoping he called Trudeau a fag, oh well. Maybe Doolittle watched a different version than the one shown. RIP.
  9. Much appreciated, also no cannonballs at the pool.
  10. Sailing? How about one of these? The marina village in the Bahamas, more my taste, esp the jetski accessories.
  11. Have not been to Freeport, liked Nassau but it would get boring after a bit. I am not a fan of just flopping on a beach, so I would likely want to leave after a week in Turks.
  12. I don't roll the dice, I take out insurance for the final payment. If I can't get my payment terms, we walk.
  13. When was the last time you were in Vaughan? Hamilton, good one.
  14. Z's favourite movie is Demolition Man.
  15. Bum-Fuck is not an option. The wife thinks Parry Sound is too small. We (I) don't really like Huntsville, not powersport friendly enough.
  16. My wife was a city girl and was surprised she wanted to move to Vaughan. She used to get nosebleeds anytime north of Steeles Ave. A possible scenario could be primarily on the Lake in Seguin and have a condo on Lake Simcoe to be closer to more civilization. I would never think of heading back to TO.
  17. Eleanor. I thought this thread was going to be between two chics.
  18. Sure I do and we stay away from them. We walk from jobs we don't feel comfortable with and we told a $100 billion/year corp to fuck off cause we could not accept their terms and conditions. We are extremely busy and already booked into 1/2 of next year so we don't need to take on flaky business. When we deal with contractors that could go broke on a job we insure it, at least the final payment so let them go tits up.
