Isn’t the entire point of the redditors’ exercise to effect change? As in, “we don’t like what the hedge funds are doing so let’s teach them a lesson? How is Warren’s letter anything other than capitalizing on the momentum of what the redditors have begun to push once more for the regulation of Wall Street now that the powers that be may be feeling more receptive. She’s been pushing for regulations for over 12 years now so I say kudos for consistency.

It’s always been interesting to get an insiders perspective. The average consumer isn’t really exposed to many of the nuts and bolts of it. I used them four or five years ago for assistance in getting some derogatory information removed from my wife’s credit report and that worked okay.

It’s got it’s critics, I suppose. Most of the criticism seems to center around the agency being too aggressive and enjoying too much independence from oversight. I know you’re in the banking and lending business so I don’t know to what extent you may have experienced it’s impacts. I know she really wanted to serve as director but pretty much got blocked by the top Democratic brass.

You can still go on whatever site you want and wax philosophical about Milton Friedman, tax rates, supply side economics, monetary policy, and gold standards all day long as long as you can do it rationally and without threats of violence which apparently is asking too much for many. I can’t remember all the details but my boss recently helped his dad install solar and they installed arrays out on the ground - told me it’s easier to clean/maintain them that way?? I know Tesla now has rooftop solar tiles with 25 year warranty to maintain 80% of their power capacity. Sounds like you’ll still be on the grid for nighttime power? Would be cool to get a power wall setup and go completely off grid. I’d like to do a yard based setup but depends if Biden pays off my wife’s student loan debt.
