  1. Hopefully there will be a nice fresh layer of snow by the time we get there.
  2. Any vibration in the handle bars and footwells ? The one I rode for the 20 minutes was too much for my hands and feet. I had to get back on my 4 stroke.
  3. Yup, it does take a while for the arms and other muscles to get back in shape. Last minute change for us. We,re going to Pembroke for a couple of days. At the present time, that looks like the area with the most trails open. Hopefully we,ll get lots of snow across the province soon. Have a great time and let us know how the trails are in your neck of the woods.
  4. He peeled the red off of the nose, and some other red as well on the tunnel, and it gives it a totally different look. Mainly all black now, and looks great. Where abouts are you headed ? As of right now, we are heading for the Bears Den in Deep River in the morning.
  5. Where is the banana belt ? LOL
  6. I think our gang is heading up towards Deep River, or Pembroke tomorrow. According to the OFSC trail guide, it looks like more trails are open around Pembroke than Deep River. I agree with you. This weather is depressing and seems to suck any motivation to get out sledding out of me as well. Hopefully at least our local shallow Graham Lake will freeze over well enough that we can get out on it and put on a few miles and have some friendly drag races. I was out with Charlie with his new 850 doo last Friday for a 100 km local run. He likes it and is anxious to get more miles on it to give it thru the break in period so he can really start riding it harder.
  7. Why are women so mechanically and directionally challenged ? Have you ever really listened to a women giving another women directions ?
  8. Hey Poncho, any snow anywhere up around Pembroke or Deep River ? The Indians around here are getting restless. LOL
  9. Has anyone been sledding around Pembroke or Deep River after the ice storm ? We,re wondering about going up that way tomorrow.
  10. Is the track at Calabogie any more challenging, or would it be to much for a Corvette to handle safely ?
  11. He was busy last week-end trying to make it go 120. Probably still looking for a high enough cliff to drop it off of.
  12. Hey Sean, Nice to see you on here. Are you on sled patrol again this year, IF we ever get any snow ? LOL
  13. Couple pairs of socks, some underware, and a piece of tail. ALL 3 SIZES TOO BIGGGG.
  14. Loosen up that belt. Your brain is badly starving for air. Tons of doo guys wanting more power, and having to spend a shit ton of cash to even get close to a cheaply modded cat. Sounds like over the years, you have drank way to much yellow cool-aid, and it,s starting to show. Hey Poncho, are you sure you looked up that airplane fuel nice and tight ? I think this guy might of gotten into the fumes .LOL
  15. Totallyamaha has lots of reviews by real owners. I think your allowed to browse thru the forums without even signing in. They have a specific one for the Sidewinder.
  16. And half the weight. All the old guys I ride with complain about the weight by the end of the day.
  17. Exactly, for the life of me, I cann,t even come close to understanding how these idiots think. Are we really in that big of a hurry that we cann,t slow down for a couple of minutes and be friendly to whoever we meet on the trail ? When I,m leading our group, and I meet others on the trail with dogs, or cross country skiing, or whatever, I and our whole group slows down to a crawl, and come to a complete stop so the owner can call their dog back and control it. To bad the land owners weren,t able to get reg. number off of the sleds. Public shame is a wonderful thing.
  18. Great to hear, but somehow it is hard to believe they didn,t have a say of some sort. What was the criteria used to establish such a ridiculously low speed limit, and who where the idiots that suggested that speed, and who were the idiots that approved it. 50 KPH on a railbed is painful, very painful. Most winding trails can be safetly ridden at that speed as well. That speed limit does not make an ounce of sense. Again, who was involved in setting that limit ? Around this area, none of the MPP have a clue or give a rats a$e about sleds or sledding, and what they do for the local economy.
  19. Not surprised. He,s over on the other site whining about how crappy his Polaris suspension is. LOL
  20. Hey Puzzle, we need more pics, and history of that sled.
  21. Beware, real world results will vary. Results at the shoot-out are great for bugging your buddies, but guaranfuckinteed, real world results will be different. The real winners are the food and beer vendors. Way to many inconsistent conditions from one run to the next to decide anything. And remember, the sleds that ran at Inlet, are the very same as yours, in name only. Some are put together with a mix good parts, others seem to get a mix of all the bad parts, all within a wide spec, of course.
  22. Quit drinking the yellow anti-freeze, it,s going to kill you. LOL
  23. I didn,t realize that. Why would Japan do this for the USA, and not in their own country ?
