The border bill is the best example of this the border was more secure with the current level of funding but now that they have acknowledged a problem the only solution they can come up with is more money.

Historically when you cut taxes the government ends up with more revenue. Our problem is spending. What good is more revenue if you are just going to blow it on wasteful spending.
