Ya, I think everyone's mom or grandma had a miniature village years ago. My mom did when I was a kid and at 86 she still sets up every year. I have a customer who removes all the furniture from one room and fills it with a village including a train set that runs from one end to the other. Pretty cool but tough not for kids to touch...lol

It takes a fair bit of time but I still enjoy it. The lights along the eaves just stay up all year at this point. They were just too time consuming and I'm not good on a ladder. The animals take the most time now as the lights are constantly dying. Getting hard to find room to store. The small animals go in the attic but the large ones now go in the sled shed. I only do the outside stuff. The wife does inside. She changes all the wall pictures to Christmas themed pictures, the area rugs all get changed out to Christmas, all the knick knacks on tables and shelves all go to Christmas. Upstairs and downstairs trees, etc. She normally starts the first week of November and she will leave it up until second week of January.

Wife and I are still working on Christmas things around here. She just got home from 6 weeks in Florida last week and she’s way behind in decorating. I’ve been adding a bit at a time for a month. Was sick for 2 weeks. Family is coming for Christmas this Sunday so the push is on for the next 24 hours.

When I was a kid we had this album. I played the shit out of it an our cabinet stereo turn table.

I had my wisdom teeth out when I was 30. I only had 2. One was coming in crooked, the other was horizontal under the gum. I was supposed to be lightly sedated but apparently I got aggressive with the surgeon and the nurse couldn't hold me still so they knocked me out completely. I don't remember anything except walking in the operating room and waking up on a cot in the hallway. Hurt like a bitch for several days. I had a huge crater for years where they took the one out. Found out they also chipped the tooth in front of it. I hate going to the dentist. I have to go for a cleaning on Tuesday. I have gum recession in areas so exposed roots, a lot of sensitivity issues. They'll shoot me up with 25 shots of freezing before they start. I'll still jump a couple times when they hit a tender spot.

73% in favour and they thought the vote would be closer. Most were happy with a $1/hr per year raise it seems. But I believe this is retro correct? Back to the last contract?

I have a friend who's worked in grocery stores for over 40 years. He always told me that fruits and vegetables were a lost leader. They loose money on these items to get you in the store so they can make the profits on your total bill. Box and can goods are where the money is. I just went to the grocery store. 3 heads of romaine is $9, and it was on its last days.

I have ribs going on today. Question: I've been watching triple D a bit the last week. A couple of bbq joints they went to said they don't remove the silver skin off the back of the ribs. I always understood that this was a must do. Anyone that can comment either way? sometimes its a bitch to get off and if it makes no difference then why do it?

Mach is still holding its value though. I see used at $25k+.

Am I serious about what? Common knowledge? 2 year old known facts? I watch the News every couple weeks. That doesn't change what I said. That's where I got the info. I don't get my news from Twitter.

From day 1, before anyone ever received a shot, it was stated that it would not fully prevent transmission. Why do people who seemed to have misunderstood that statement continue to bring it up 2 years later?

I didn't have sound on my computer until today. I don't believe I had any sound last year. No sound on my Iphone.
