  1. yes sir Wow, that is a big jump, but that is from natural causes. Around Kawagama, the lake level is controlled by logs.....but of course they get the run off that raises it as well in spring.
  2. Yes, it does indeed ! Keep that thing in, will ya! Reminds of the season 2 or 3 years ago (I think)....started off with a bang.
  3. 8 feet or 8 inches? I know lakes up that way drop, but I think only about 12 to 18 inches.
  4. I guess I need to get out more ..... or pay better attention !
  5. Your place is near Gravenhurst, if I am not mistaken? That looks impressive and nice !
  6. I do not think I have seen many non fixed docks still in the water come winter.
  7. I was going to ask the same thing...odd to see floating docks still in.
  8. You have really high hopes for this years winter in Ontario, Poncho!

    Shock Rebuild

Ya, I did go onto his website as well, which is why I listed his number above.

    Shock Rebuild

I guess, but to be honest, I don't think he relies on it it much, I'm sure most of his business comes from repeat clients and referrals. Give him a call for price: 1 905 649 8214 I think around 70 a shock, but depends on what you have. Give them your weight, riding style and what your after, if you are looking for a different feel of course. One guy is more east and the other more west..... usually fast turn around.

    Shock Rebuild

Dean at peak velocity or Frank at shock tek. You will find nothing but good reviews for both and likely similar price points..
  12. Been watching the radar for the last while, the squall is not moving much at all, nice line from GB to South East to Barrie.
  13. Looks like Dorset/Dwight area got a nice dropping of snow.

    Cheap Cruise

There might be plenty of ladies, but did the mention of how they look come up....or not important when on a mission..... There are a lot of large people on the ships....seems lots of Americans near or close to the ports wait for the last minute deals, scoop them up and sit at the 24/7 buffet on the ship....
  15. We have another East coast boy, Troy's good buddy! I am actually surprised that they are doing this again, but hey, more sled stuff is never a bad thing.

    Cheap Cruise

To add a few points to this.... The ship offers some great pills for people that might get sea sick, but if you are used to walking & feeling liking a drunken sailor, you will not notice a thing! Really is not that hard to bring your own booze on the ship to drink. Excursions are not cheap - but if you are on one of the ships excursions, most cruise ship policies is the ship will not leave until you are checked back in, if you choose to do your own things, the ship will leave without you.

    House build

Been a couple of weeks since an update....has to be some good progress being made!
  18. I am kind of surprised they do not go missing more often...I will occasionally put mine in the truck.
  19. Simple project for an eng.
  20. I bought my parts from the dealer that I bought the trailer from, just down the road....Edge. I was looking for an online source as well, never found anything so popped into the dealer, they first checked if it was a warranty item and then I ordered what I needed. I think you will likely get details here from alternate sources for the shocks vs. buying from Triton as I think there are other options as long as the length & pressures are met .
  21. So your saying you have one..... Not familiar with the small issue....
  22. Do you wear one of the magical Eng. rings, Puzzleboy!

Haha.. Is that how it supposed to work, I thought we sledders could just ride where ever we wanted, we are entitled.... d

Horrible and sad to hear. How old are his kid(s)? Did the real story of what really happened, come out....not that it really matters much, just curious, but I know those details may also bring about more comments that do not want to be heard. RIP.
  25. Damn....here I thought the 1200 out of the DOO camp was actually good! Not that I look for reviews on the 1200, but I rarely read much bad, but I also know the majority of the reviews I read are from folks that own one. Agreed, as with anything, everything can and will break.....just comes down how frequent some do vs. others..... Knock on wood, I have been lucky with almost all the sleds I have owed....I am sure one of the reasons I have not tried another manufacture...yet!
