  1. i only grind harvester chain 404 80 oregon is 35 degrees stihl is 30. a diamond wheel is way better on a grinder
  2. if you want a pro saw a ms 261 stihl 261 cm is m tronic or husky 555 or 550 if its new the older ones had hot start problems. echo is fine less hp will weigh more and will not handle as well. the non pro saws are clamshell design.. plastic crankcase. and they are all that way. and they are fine if it isnt used a lot
  3. there are still a few wells like yours. why someone thought it was a good idea to not have the casing above grade. dont know some were that way here also. so they drilled a hole for the pitless adapter and welded some casing on to bring it above grade
  4. the way you describe it. its a shallow well pump with a jet . that would be 2 pipes. the idea was it would pull water from a greater depth.if the water runs back the foot valve is leaking. sometimes putting a check valve at the pump will fix it. if you have a deep well pump. it will have a pitless adapter. the right tool. a pipe tee handle and you pull the pump pipe wire and all
  5. on a general you will get dust where the roll cage meets the windshield. the battery and fuel tank cover. duct tape fixes that. the c channel that holds the dash in place has a big gap where it meets the plastic. i had the dash out when i put the heater in. i used black silicone to seal everything dont do the piece that comes out to greece the front slip joint
  6. if your going doweast to ride the sunrise trail there is a good sized parking lot at washington junction. its 87 miles to ayers junction thats the best part but it dosent end there. it isnt as good the rest of the way to perry. well worth it . when you get to rt1 turn left across the bridge then rite up the paved rd rite at the boat ramp sign. at the water you will be looking at deer island nb. round trip around 200 miles easy day. another good ride take a left on the paved rd just past the store in franklin. there are a couple turns so watch for the access route signs that will take you past the windmills and to rt 9 and the airline dinner. there are 2 ways to get back to the sunrise. the 1 closest to the dinner has some narrow bridges. the next 1 dose not head towards the forest service garage east of the dinner. cross rt 9 then threw the blueberry barrens. i was there a few weeks ago rite after they set the bee hives. 1000's of them. follow the signs and back to the sunrise about 120 miles round trip. the state map isnt that good get one from the airline riders club. the dinner did have them. anything north of rt 9 is afm ground and the do not like atvs. all the gates are 61"
  7. yes 65 was what is was going to be. then the virus . i have had 2 game wardens tell me there is no 60" law rule whatever. its a land owner request. and since he owns the land the gate can be whatever withd he wants. places that have 60" gates? stratton that surprised me. it was a bit wider. nice place to ride? no. jackman? its better go to piston farm or bulldog camps. the best? downeast sunrise trail and the county . sunrise polaris did a you tube vid on it. starts in ellsworth and ends at the north alantic looking at canada. or heads north torwards the airline or studmill rd. i have a 17 general. its been good. if anyone wants to ride the sunrise some time i can show you the places i know

  16. buddy of mine was an engineer there. retired 6 months ago he says they are done. the paper mill could run if they can buy processed pulp form somewhere else but there would be little to no profit
  17. when the ip owned it it was a real paper mill. then verso bought it. verso a group of billionaires that thought they would get richer quick. they sold the hydro dam. paper industry up here is fine. sappi from south africa keeps building on. 9 dragons from china has a big mill in rumford and just reopened 1 in old town. then another chinese owned mill in woodland and 3 rivers way north half that mill is in canada
