  1. Why would asking for laws already in place to be enforced, laws that have been proven to work by both a Democrat President and a Republican President be considered to be "just letting it all burn"?
  2. You keep saying they missed a big opportunity, they didn't, all they have to do is enforce the laws already in place, Obama did, Trump did, and they worked fairly well, but now after Biden turned his back on enforcing the law and opened the border you seem to believe writing a new law will fix it, it won't if the laws aren't enforced, what's being claimed is if we send trillions overseas they will enforce this new law, I don't believe it, at least to the point where we're sending the majority of the money requested overseas. Start enforcing our Border laws we already have, then make amendments to tweak them, the new laws sound good so add them to what we have if needed, but enforce what we already have, why is that so hard to understand? There was no big opportunity missed other than the chance to keep funding the war machine.
  3. I really don't understand what opportunity was missed other than sending a lot more money overseas, you seem to be OK with ignoring laws already on the books that would solve the problem, I wish they would enforce the laws we have already then go from there if needed. Most of what I've read about this so called immigration law is the vast majority goes to support wars overseas, with a trickle down for immigration. As I've said enforce the laws in place then go from there, and with stand alone funding.
  4. Really what was right, writing another law that has the potential of not being enforced, all the while giving the majority of the money asked for to foreign countries, how about the Democrats show good faith and enforce the laws already there that have proven to solve most of the immigration problems, and then ask for the foreign funding on their own merits.
  5. You do realize that's what Trump and the Republicans are fighting for, for me it's the people supporting Democrat politicians that turn a blind eye to not enforcing laws that have proven to solve the bulk of the problem and say they need more laws, the Republican way is there are laws there that would solve the problem use them.
  6. He makes a lot of sense, but he states there are laws on the books that Biden chooses not to enforce that would fix the problem , laws that Obama and Trump enforced, but Biden turned his back on the laws, so they write a better law, will this one be enforced after they give the money to Ukraine and Israel along with aid to Gaza?
  7. I don't, but a lot of people still believe the media couldn't say it if it wasn't true, I heard that statement many times from my fishing buddy that worked for the Minneapolis Tribune. They've been told FOX news isn't news so only the sources they listen to is believable. I used to consider myself independent, but during the peak of Covid I spent a lot of time watching live hearings on CSPAN, talk about eye opening, it moved me strongly Conservative leaning.
  8. Or did the media manipulate the people to believe they didn't want him, finally people are seeing how biased the media has become, it's basically propaganda and anyone that points it out is attacked. So even though it's pretty obvious who's pulling Biden strings have you ever asked yourself why the media is never looking into it?
  9. Ya, that was a pretty stupid comment, some of the things he tried to get done were fought tooth and nail by Congress, (Nancy Pelosi is an evil self serving bitch and should never be allowed in politics). He started the withdrawal from Afghanistan and I have no doubt he would have done a better job if he'd gotten a second term than Biden did.
  10. Now that we know you personally don't like him, (I'm in the same boat) What don't you like about his policies, trying to secure the border, renegotiating trade policies, make the country energy self sufficient, reducing the size of the federal government, returning political power to the states?
  11. I'd say 16 years, It's been said the good choices don't want to run because they know how the media would try tear them down and don't want to subject their family to that ordeal.
  12. I think it was a toss-up if he would be until yesterday, it's a given. but will the democrats make a decision soon enough to give them a chance, and if they choose someone far left will they be screwed? Minneapolis is in a bubble, to me it's strange how the far left is hanging on down there.
  13. I have to disagree, My fishing buddies are very liberal, or I should say were, They think the direction the Democrats have gone is a disgrace, They still dislike Trump but there isn't the hate there used to be, hell they even accept his direction is better than the direction the liberal politicians have gone, also with the mainstream media turning against Biden if the Democrats want to have any chance of beating Trump, Biden has to be replaced soon .
  14. The mainstream media has really turned on Biden, it's like they're finally given the go-ahead to tell the truth. https://www.aol.com/news/more-voters-rating-trumps-presidency-100000778.html How poll respondents who thought Biden's presidency was worse than expected described it. 15. You're obviously sympathetic to the forgetful old man. it says the crime was committed but yes they didn't feel they could overcome sympathy the Jury would feel for Biden in his current mental state. (kind of embarrassing for the sitting president and the people that support him).
  16. Hur’s report included several shocking lines about Biden’s memory, which the report said “was significantly limited” during his 2023 interviews with the special counsel. Biden’s age and presentation would make it more difficult to convince a jury beyond a reasonable doubt that the now-81-year-old was guilty of willfully committing a crime. Edit: so he committed a crime he's just not mentally competent enough to convince a Jury that he willfully did.
  17. WASHINGTON — Special counsel Robert Hur has declined to prosecute President Joe Biden for his handling of classified documents, but said Biden's practices "present serious risks to national security," and added that Biden portrayed himself as an "elderly man with a poor memory" who would be sympathetic to a jury.
  18. He did, but as a President he is allowed to keep documents, Biden never was, that's the big difference.
  19. No they decided it wasn't worth pursuing, because they would see him as an elderly man with a poor memory and and they didn't think they would find him to have the mental capacity to know what he had done. I interpret that to say even though he's guilty, they're taking pity on him because he's mentally incompetent.
  20. I guess if you call a sitting President incompetent to stand trial, legally cleared, there's that.
  21. I don't know where you get that, it was clearly illegal for Biden to have the documents, and the reason given why he wasn't charged is because he's to feeble.
  22. I see the bottom line as Biden was never authorized to have the documents and knew it, Trump was convinced he was authorized and in the process of arguing his point they raided his home. Also Biden didn't return all the files, the more they searched the more they've found. Hell, there might be more out there he hasn't returned.
  23. Could it be because Biden wasn't authorized to have them and knew that, Trump was authorized and the argument was, to what extent? Let's bring Hillary into the conversation whose computer was subpoenaed so she wiped the hard drive and had hers and all aids phones physically destroyed so they couldn't recover the data after the fact. Who can forget her smug response when questioned about it, "You mean with like a cloth?"
