  1. Wait till the 2025s come out. We will instantly be on page 511 and the 858 will be the most reliable sled ever built with tunnel wings on it. But you don’t need anything bigger than a 600
  2. It was easier to do on the old ass draggers as they had a long front end. And it was super safe to do because you were so far off the correct side of the trail. If someone was coming towards you hit the brakes and all was good
  3. The only thing they might be good for is blocking roost when you do a belly pan slide in a corner that has berm turning left when the groomer has made one pass. Most people will put a ski up on it and bank the corner at any speed. If you come in hot, kick the sled sideways and get it on top of the berm in between the skis and the track, you can hold it wide open sliding on the belly pan and have the sled chain saw it down and blow snow into the woods like a snow cannon. It won’t work going slow as you will either tip back and get stuck or tip forward and drive way. You will blow the whole corner out. It’s so fun to do
  4. There is no rear cooler in a 7000. I am not referring to the cooling part. Blocking snow it did no noticeable difference that we noticed. The only reason they were on there is because cat sent them from the factory that year on the limited
  5. It’s Swedish money. It’s slightly cheaper than full set of the rxc qs3 for the catalyst from cat after the exchange rate
  6. my 7000 had them on it. I don’t think they did much of anything.
  7. I stopped doing that too. It is usually a link to Norman county’s donkey show
  8. I hear they help keep the dirt on the hyfax so they melt off faster. Cat’s solution was to come up with a 300 dollar set of hyfax to sell you
  9. Yeah. the way the market is you would have to sell a used catalyst that has been road for 8500 to make it worth it for someone to buy. You can get a carry over for 11 now.
  10. I found a full set of elka stage 5 for procross 137 1400 for all 4. Might be worth picking up if the rears fit and selling off the fronts
  11. The sled is filthy after a season of riding. I am 1/2 tempted to put it out side in the rain to wash it off
  12. That’s what happens when you stop at the Norman county watering hole and they have windshield washer fluid out
  13. I priced out a set of ohlins and they $15,000 sek a set. The ac5 sounds interesting
  14. They won’t they are to high up. If you look at a catalyst snow flap vs a procross someone put some time into that thing. It will have the snow bounce off of it and get picked up by the rear track lugs.
  15. That one is probably like number 10. Never saw one ever by the house and probably 8 years ago I went to get a beer and it was right next to the cooler sitting 6 feet from us. Ever since then they have hung out around the house. The original one had better color and did not give a shit if people were around. I almost had it in the house
  16. Yeah not much of anything here. Supposed to get 2 inches tonight followed by 1.5 inches of rain tomorrow. West of here about an hour had rideable snow the last few days if you went into the woods and stayed off the main trails
  17. His dealer hopped in a helicopter and made an immediate trip to install them. Free of charge to
  18. I guess it’s from the upper an arm bushings. It’s on both sides. It started doing that after the 4th or 5th time I road it. I might take it apart and grease them. However it might be easier to spray some fogging oil in there. I have seen some other people post about that issue
  19. For sure it bolted back on. The pc flaps would rip and then you were screwed
  20. I have a custom vent now in my garbage truck that draws in more air. It works like the hood vents on an old muscle car to draw more air in. They are back to building them like they use to.
  21. The calibration on the suspension is awful on the catalyst and it is very noticeable. IMO this is where the “seat” is to hard coming from. When you compare it to anything else you will notice the difference. They don’t need a redesigned skid, they to spend 5 minutes and have the thing calibrated right. If they fired all those people they can call carver and give him a couple grand to give them something that works.
  22. Tucker disagrees. His favorite race sled is a jag. Mike just made him race those fancy sleds
