Time For Another Boost
No, no, no, you heard us incorrectly, we did not say it would prevent covid it just helps you fight it off - until it doesn't and you still die of covid or it actually does help you survive and then you have all of the exact same long term side effects they warn you about that covid can cause and you could eventually die from so that hopefully if you are scared enough about those long covid side effects you will go out and get another shot of the vax.

Traders Who ‘Just Want to Survive’ Sit on $5 Trillion Cash Pile
Their just reporting this now? Who is going to gamble in the market when your cash can earn a guaranteed 5% return? Most everyone I know has been moving to cash for months now. The market bloodbath has not even started yet.

Let that sink in!
Elon just does not give a shit. And that's awesome. Please don't. In more important matters. Elon just does not give a shit and that's fun to watch.

2024 Arctic Cat Catalyst 'Chassis' details?
Don't sell Heidi short. I think she really knows what her customers want. Something not too intimidating. Krom definitely would have done a better job on that podcast. Hell, any sledder older than 15 could have come up with a better release plan for that new chassis. The diehards have already waited this long, they could have waited another year or two for a proper launch with an 850 or 860 or anything but a reworked run of the mill 600 in it.

There is very little to no fucking data on side effects from the vax because nobody that I know of is even tracking it or worse yet acknowledging there could be issues.

2024 Arctic Cat Catalyst 'Chassis' details?
How exactly is Textron planning on shipping 24's before doo or poo ship their 23's? Besides holding onto this chassis forever they are now using a 600 only approach at launch to insure they only get a small number of orders - that is, once it can actually be ordered. I'm sure hardcore mountain mashers are on pins and needles waiting for a 600cc deep snow sled. Aside from Heidi's astute observation that cat's core does not want high performance this is my guess.... 1. Time from these 3D printed display models to full production for 24' is going to be a tough hurdle to get over in this sourcing environment. It will be a massive feat if they launch this with a modern gauge package. Something that is now considered standard equipment. 2. Current 800cc and 998T motors will not fit in the chassis so either clean sheet engine designs or significant chassis mods will be needed. Neither of which will be simple for textron as the current "new" 800cc motor is now how old? This also makes more sense as to why Yammi is likely no longer a partner. Where is the new 4 stroke turbo coming from? The 850 or 900 smoker? A smoker turbo? Textron is so far behind the curve at the moment it is going to take years to simply catch up to what other sledders already ordered last Spring.

Both of my parents are still struggling with nasty side effects from the first round of shots. Neither has had covid but both continue to have terrible joint pains that move around and come and go, my mom now has had a total of 4 confirmed stroke events with no history prior. My dad woke up one morning and could not talk. Took him to the ER said maybe a slight stroke but could not tell. My mom still has blood pressure that swings from 110/70 to a high of 230/130. At one point in the ER her BP was too high for the monitor to read. Doctors have no explanation and just keep scratching their heads. Will not admit it could be an issue with the vax. Yet, none of this shit is being discussed and or studied or if it is nobody is talking. They just keep pushing the vax.... This is a fucked up world we live in.

2024 Arctic Cat Catalyst 'Chassis' details?
It's great cat finally decided to compete again after all of these years of floundering in the market. Even if it's only a 600 and you cannot have one in your trailer for a year or more. Competition is better for everyone that is an enthusiast of the sport. Once the new platform is proven I may dust off my 90's cat gear and own one again but they are going to have to bring a lot more than a chassis. They really do have a shit ton of work to do but it seems for now Textron is willing to infuse some cash and see if the division can revive itself. I hope they can and do.

2024 Arctic Cat Catalyst 'Chassis' details?
I've seen the mockup and as the cat fans have said all along, you can't patent a triangle and it looks exactly like a rev or a matryx from any angle. Were the cat engineers that dumb that it took them this long to come up with something that is nearly exactly the same combination of triangles and geometry or were they just waiting for the patent to run out while selling 1 out of every 10 new sleds sold every year. I have to believe it was the latter. As for the lawsuit. cat did not win. They just spent millions defending their ability to sell the procross chassis for really long time. Again, at a rate of 1 to 10 or less. That was not a win by any metric you use in business to measure success. So again, were the cat engineers just that dumb or was the threat of another lawsuit for something that would clearly lose in court enough to screw over loyal fans of the brand and make them wait for at least a decade?

2024 Arctic Cat Catalyst 'Chassis' details?
I've tried to stay out of this conversation for the most part since seeing the new cat marketing machine still in full on retard mode at haydays. Figured the one in ten snowmobiler that is so faithful to the brand that they are still buying new cats after all these years at least deserves to keep that brand new woodie they have over the catalyst for at least a little while before calling it out for what it is. A full on copycat of the rev or matryx chassis. Not the partial copy that the company so stupidly decided to spend millions upon millions defending in court battle after court battle but the full on copy, that according to her, they have been working on and obviously sitting on for the most of the last ten years. Yes the new estrogen soaked cat leadership all but stated this for the record. The company did this rather than just pay a couple bucks to the patent owner and spend the rest of that pile of legal cash in areas their faithful could have actually benefitted from. If I had been missing out on the last twenty years of riding a modern sled chassis and then actually listened to what she said in those few seconds that she was not talking about how much she now loves ice skating and curling I would have been fucking furious.

2024 Arctic Cat Catalyst 'Chassis' details?
Heidi's bringing it home for what she thinks the loyal cat customer wants. In her own words. "First, there's not enough of us, we need more arctic cat customers" "That's what we're committed to, it's what we think the catalyst is really going to drive" "It's to make the ride more accessible, for people that aren't going to ride the turbo, don't need the full power, who might be intimidated. Trying to connect with their core riders." So, Heidi feels the loyal core cat rider is intimidated and does not need the full power in their sled.... Sounds about right but didn't the blast already hit this mark then?

Making it mandatory would definitely be a shot in the arm some private schools need to get their enrollments up.

Donald Trump would get his "fucking brains beat in" if he runs for president again
MSM doing what they do best. Making this election about something other than what the focus of the election should be. That would be because their favorite far left candidates might lose so change the focus in a chance they can win and keep doing the absolutely stupid shit the far left has been doing to kill this country. While election integrity should be every Americans priority I am far more concerned about things like the economy, our place on the world stage, safety and security of US citizens, the overall degradation of our cities, left or right wing policies getting inserted where they have no place being inserted, freedom of speech, healthcare, a true accounting of the debacle that was the covid pandemic and what is being done to prevent the same thing or worse from happening again. Things that I see very little real discussion of. It's still all about DJT when he has had zero influence on US policy for nearly two years now. Politics in the US has devolved into something completely unrecognizable to the average citizen.

Donald Trump would get his "fucking brains beat in" if he runs for president again
The upcoming election is far more important than the one in two years but it seems a lot of people are sidetracked with dopey gropey and trump. That election is too far away for me to be concerned about it. Perhaps there is more discussion going on about the upcoming election than I know about other than the usual barrage of mud-slinging from both sides. But then I really pay zero attention to the mainstream news outlets. I get all my current events updates from FS.

Donald Trump would get his "fucking brains beat in" if he runs for president again
While I voted for trump over fucking dopey gropey dipshit I really doubt he (Trump) could win in the next election. The guy is a far better leader for this country than what we have now but watching him do (and say) some of the stupid fucking things he did while campaigning was a head shaker. It was his election to lose last time and in more ways than one he did enough to lose it. He will never appeal to the middle of the road voter which you need to win, along with some good ol' fashioned ballot box stuffing of course.

Thanks Biden
Not sure why senile sniffy would even care that they booed her. She's far too old for him and I doubt he even knows she's his wife at this point in his dementia filled existence.

Car price collapse.
Some good deals on floriduh flood cars. It's going to take some time for the industry to get back to semi-normal production levels. Even then msrp may become the new normal for automakers.

New York Shootout....
Take shit talking out of sledding and it's only about half as much fun. Sled forums only have two reasons to exist: 1. Advise new sledders on which oil or can is best for them. 2. Shit talking.
-
New York Shootout....
This pretty much sums it up. It was always something to look forward to just before our trails open up and the shit talking is unmatched when it comes to a sled specific topic.
-
New York Shootout....
That's just how much it sucks. You just cannot beat the back and forth over who's sled in break-in mode is fastest on dirt.....

New York Shootout....
Man that sucks, there was no bigger pissing contest than that one every season.
