I haven’t seen a single thing from Polaris about this recall for my Indy. Until they legitimately tell me, I don’t know shit. Thanks for the sharp legal advice though.

I wouldn’t be so sure that they still couldn’t be on the hook for something or that insurance can just wipe their hands clean of it. Some people still have yet to get an official notice from Polaris on the deal. Social Media can’t be the only “official” means to notify customers about this.

Total opposite for me, trail sled wise. I don’t have any serious hate for PC chassis sleds but they are on the bottom of my list. I haven’t ridden a G4 or G5 Doo though either I guess but the last Doo I rode (XS chassis Renegade XRS) I was happily surprised. My Indy works really well for me. The 600 is definitely slow but gets the job done. Price was right so is what it is.

I’ve actually toyed with the idea of selling my 600 and buying an 800. At todays prices, I could do it for cheap. I didn’t pay shit for the 600 and could actually make a good chunk of profit on it right now.

Like I said, 5 years tops. He knows his business model is going to have to change as the years go on anyway. He’s fairly well diversified so he should be fine.

Again, it’s not a horrible price but with the mileage, no fucking way. I saw an 80’s Indy Trail on their this morning that allegedly has 20 miles on it. $7500. Can’t find it now though.

Garrett and the owner of Bradenton (can’t think of his name at the moment) know their gooses are cooked. If I were them, I’d do whatever it takes to get as much money out of those properties over the next 5ish years because in 10, they’ll both be shut down, unless something changes and I doubt that it will.

Unless you really keep up on it, a 9500 mile F chassis is gonna be blown out worse than a $2 whore, in my experiences. Well, unless it was ridden on the smoothest of trails by a 100 lb woman maybe. The only guys that I knew that could keep one together and reliable, while still be able to ride them hard, spent a good chunk of time in the off season working on them. But I see your point. There’s people out there that think Edge X’s, Pro-X’s and Pro-X2’s are worth gold too. The price of those sleds legitimately bottomed out in the $2500 range and never moved below that.

Haven’t even bought a trail permit yet. IF, the snow for the end of next week pans out, I MIGHT head up north and check it out. Not going to hold my breath though.

Trail riding in Canada is sorta hairy. Little traffic, no cell service and if you screw up, most times you’re going to be walking out because you’ll be out of gas before the next town. There is something to be said for riding a trail with fresh snow over the top of an 4-5 day old groom and there hasn’t been a sled down it. Totally legal off trail for days up there too but yeah, the rocks are worse than stumps.
