  1. Looks like you brought back a painful memory for some. Pst Joe wake up
  2. After your done riveting everything on check the inside of the tunnel for track clearance on the rivets. You may have to file a couple down to the mandrel for clearance.
  3. Looks good...air rivet gun👍 Tell the wife it's going to be her sled now that she signed it and your buying a new one?
  4. Keep me posted if you get a Bamdu and what your opinion is. Undecided between the Qidi and Bamdu. Like the larger working envelope of Qidi but like the AMS on the Bambu. Reading where Qidi is going to be coming our with their own AMS.
  5. Argo would seem to be a better fit but interesting rumor.
  6. One year ago was up riding and put 255 miles on one year ago. Not this year. Stopped by our plow guy who is a logger by trade. Said they have issues also because some of the forest roads already have weight restrictions on because there is no frost in the ground. Now they can't get the logs out because the trucks are over the weight limit.
  7. Looks like your on a trend with ordering parts
  8. The ones I restored had the original hardware for the motor taken to a local coating place and had them yellow zinc coated. Can't remember the cost as he told me to be patient and he'll through them in with other parts but it was very reasonable. Turned out great. This is not my motor but a friend that I help out with
  9. I like the SLP Magnum adjustable weights (Polaris) and haven't had any reliability issues. Use them a little different than just adding the stock set screws that come with the weights. Use a combination of aluminum, steel and Tungsten set screws where you can not only change the weight of the weight but also move the weight from the tip to the heel by using the different materials of set screws.
  10. They also have turbo issues
  11. Think we all have know of that guy. Guy in town had multiple commercial properties and a fuel oil business. Had his house sided and took all the nails out of the wood siding that was removed. Saved the siding and straighten the nails out on a brick and saved them in a coffee can.
  12. Oh I know some and they still make and have made really dumb financial decisions. Retire because your 65 and get a part time job because you can't afford your payments.
  13. Most of the younger generation live on credit and minimum monthly payments. Bad way to start.
  14. Friend as kids had an Alsport Steen that had a Hodaka motor and swing arm front suspension.
