Ya the temp swings suck. We must be getting that cold tonight it’s gonna drop down again but right back to 60 later this week. I pretty much wrote this winter off a few weeks ago I’m happy I even got to go riding this season.

Already seeing decent discounts on new here. I’m sure good deals will be able to be had on used also especially if people are financed to the max and need to get out of the toy loans. The handful of guys I know that buy new every couple years plan to check a 25 🤷‍♂️ bad winter or not.

I guess I’m high miles this season with around 1200 lol. Kids rode earlier around the house but it’s going quick had to shovel snow onto the dirt spots to keep my lawn somewhat intact lol.

That sucks what a shitty winter it’s been. Winter is definitely over for us in southern NH never really started actually. It looks like 50s all week 😢. At this point I don’t even want the snow down here it’s done time to pull the cars out. Riding was awesome up there once you got outside of Alma a few miles and up into the hills and mountains bunch of snow 3+ft I’d guess. In Alma it was thin but rideable. It looks like even up there is getting high 40s for a few days doubt in towns gonna last with that. One of the waitresses we talked to said it was probably the last weekend of riding which is probably why it got so packed up there the last two day. Must have been at least 75 sleds parked at the hotel we were at.

Gotta chase it far this year I guess. I was surprised how far some of the guys came that we talked to up here. We talked to a couple guys from jersey a lot from NY and even talked with a guy that came from Michigan.

Good last days ride started off warm but temp dropped fast. It was snowing pretty good all afternoon up in the mountains some spots had 8 or more inches of fresh. Did about 1200 miles for the week.

Did a loop around lake Saint Jean yesterday. Awesome trails north of the lake flat, fast and a couple inches of fresh snow on top. south of the lake the warm weather the last couple days is definitely taking its toll dirt patches showing low snow spring conditions. Last riding day here probably my last ride of the season 😔 looking to head north today to do some exploring.

The old xp8hundo ran like a champ today. What a difference in the two sleds the xp feels like a toy weight wise compared to the winder so much easier to throw around I missed that but obviously the winder has the power that makes it fun. Still good riding especially at elevation but the warm weather today is definitely taking its toll hopefully trails can stay open in town just a few more days 🤞gonna be warm rest of the week.

Horrible idea to have shared trails. I will say one thing I noticed up here in quebec is there are atv trails all over the place some even running along right next to the sled trails. They have their own separate trails they can ride all year long and not go on and fuck up the sled trails. It seems like a pretty good set up to me obviously more work making two separate trails but that’s the atv guys problem to deal with if they want to ride all year.

Got lazy last night went to the hot tub woke up this morning and we decided to do a short ride today come back early and put my sled back together finally. I’ll finally be back on the doo tomorrow took it for a quick rip seems good to go now. Good ride today was on the sidewinder again went south found a cool mountain to go up had some awesome views. Trails are awesome up here and the scenery is 👌 highly recommend it.

Yup rollers. First time it’s happened on this particular sled but it had happened twice on my old xp. Got them yesterday morning it’s a simple job we’ve just been lazy to go out and put it back together and I wasn’t gonna turn down the offer to take the winder that sled was made for the trails up here lol

Alma QC everything we’ve rode so far has been north of the saguenay river and lake Saint Jean. Well worth the drive 👍

Awesome day of riding today. I think regional 373 might be my new favorite trail lol fast and fun with great views. Got the parts for my sled this morning too. We ended up just going to ride and not put them in so gonna hopefully put them on later tonight or tomorrow morning or I guess It’ll be another day on the winder.

Off to a great start lol. My sled decided 20miles in the secondary didn’t want to live anymore. We tore it apart in the trailer last night hoping to get parts this am. Luckily for me my bud brought his old sidewinder(red one) as a backup so I rode that all day. I was a little bummed we had to cancel gaspe but so far this is a beautiful area and pretty good riding too 👍. Here’s a few pics.
