We don't have farm deer where I hunt in Maine. The biggest factors are the age of the deer and how they are killed, IMO. You want a good clean kill without adrenaline pumping through their body.

Mainecat, please research before you post. Maine was one of the states that turned down the so-called FREE money. It costs the state real money to continue the program. The new democratic gov did accept it, but has to plan how to pay for it to continue.

The company that I was working for would buy back stock with free cash on hand (not borrowed money) as they feel the company is worth more than the stock value. It does not increase the stock price or reduce the total number of shares. It is a financial decision that it adds more value to the company with that strategy, rather than using the extra free cash to pay down debt.

There is definitely a shortage of drivers for companies around me. I talked to an estimator for one of the largest dirt work contractors in the state and he said there is also a shortage of Flaggers (yes Flaggers!) and it causing a huge problem for them. They can't find enough bodies for all the work. There should be next to no one on unemployment right now.

I have been living out of a hotel room in nearby Fort Atkinson off and on lately for work. Nice area, but not to my liking.

This is nothing new. We are spending billions on cyber security that is mandated by the government to combat these threats. The single power plant that I work at has spent millions the past few years.
