  1. What the hell's he doing in that shithole anyways? NM is not a toss up state. Not even close. Just skip it. NM has some of the most gorgeous land and coolest native history in the country, but ABQ is a dump.
  2. Yep. I think it's why he didn't age like all his predecessors. He doesn't take most things too seriously. It's what endears him to many.
  3. Oh, IDK... have you seen some of those interviews by ambush reporters who ask people on one side or another to support their argument? LOL those are hilarious, but sad.
  4. So the whole abortion thing is a bit odd. In 2022, the idiot Repubs way overplayed their hands with abortion, enacting draconian bans in a number of states, even purple states. But this year, in many states, there are props on the ballot to enshrine abortion in state constitutions with no limits. Arizona is one such state. My wife and I were filling out our ballots a couple days ago. She and I are not completely aligned on the abortion issue. At least here in AZ, the proposed amendment makes no limits on abortion, at all. Women could seek abortions for no reason at all up until birth. They write these props in such a way that the above is not clear though. They just see "abortion" and think "yeah, I'm for that," until you actually think about what it means in reality. Once she thought through it, she voted no on the prop here, which keeps our current law in place (up to 15 weeks, no problem, after that for extenuating circumstances). Kindof like most European countries. All that is to say, I wonder if the left are somewhat overplaying THEIR hands on this. Will be interesting to see how these things shake out over the next week.
  5. They appeal strongly to the undecided middle-American GenX and Millenial crowd too. Massively. That whole generation (mine) was raised on sarcasm and trolling. It's fun, light-hearted, and makes him appear likable and funny. That's political gold. He's completely aced Harris on the "fun and vibes" front down the stretch. I had drinks with a buddy of mine last night who voted for Harris, and he thought the truck thing and Trump's appearance on stage in a hi-vis vest were funny as hell. If this were Walz doing this, I'd be saying, "yeah, he got Trump with that one. That's funny." To deny this is simply an indicator you're blinded by hate.
  6. Probably not wrong. I think there's enough of a block of women who are so myopically focused on abortion, they'd walk barefoot through broken glass to go vote against Trump, even though he said he'd veto any ban at the federal level. If Trump loses, his biggest mistake will have been not messaging harder to women his anti-ban and pro-IVF stances. That and safety/crime, which are disproportionately women's rights issues and should have been framed more strongly as such.
  7. That'd be like a 90s sitcom with R rated language! I'm for it! LOL
  8. If you don't realize the truck stunt and the McDonald's stunts are obvious trolls, you're even dumber than you come across...
  9. Trump simply doesn't miss a chance to troll the libs. They say you can tell who's winning by which candidate is having more fun. Nobody's having more fun than Trump right now. Trump's closing argument: keep more of your own money, eat safer food, live in a safer city, work in an American job Kamala's closing argument: Trump
  10. This was reviewed and found to be a tabulation error. The 160k excess votes won't be counted. Not some BS.
  11. Biden is the current sock puppet. Harris is the next puppet. Neither of them have actual thoughts. Obama is the puppet master.
  12. Today is Wed, Oct 30th. My prediction is that Harris wins comfortably, taking down PA, WI, and MI. AZ will go to Trump but Gallego will win the Senate. NV will be Harris. Baldwin beats Hovde in WI for Senate. My reasoning is that the pollsters are over-correcting and over-sampling Repubs to avoid another 2016, or 2020. I think this looks more like 2022 where they predicted a Red Wave that never came. They'd much rather be wrong in the Dems favor than the Reps. The voters who are going to put this over the edge are the dumbfuck Reps and Libertarians who can't see past the J6 stuff enough to realize that team MAGA is the closest thing we've ever had to actual Republicanism (if Elon slashes like he says he will). That and the pissed off women who have abortion confused with healthcare. What's yours, and why?
  13. This is complete bullshit. There are a bunch of posts from folks who've gone to Trump rallies as opponents and been shocked how well they were treated... The inverse is not true.
  14. The good guys sued, and now Bucks County will allow in person voting until 5 PM Friday. In 2020, PA arbitrarily decided to change what they'd count when it came to mail-in ballots. Seems that state is very malleable. Super confidence-inspiring...
  15. Some interesting data here from Michigan. Currently unsubstantiated, but odd... The database says 115k people have voted, but 280k ballots have been counted...
  16. The BIGGEST reason I'm backing Trump is because he's actually willing to engage on this front.
  17. They're already trying to spin it that he was talking about Tony Hinchcliffe exclusively, not all supporters.
  18. every so often, a democrat will tell you how they really feel about most of their opponents. You just need to be ready to call them on it.
  19. Good evening, my fellow deplorable garbage Nazis!
  20. According to Gabe Gutierrez of NBC News, Biden tonight: “Donald Trump has no character. He doesn't give a damn about the Latino community…just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage?…The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.” Whereas Tony Hinchcliffe was referring to Puerto Rico's well-publicized landfill/trash issue, not the people, Biden's calling 80M+ Americans garbage. Dude's the gift that keeps on giving.
  21. wife and I are friends with two hispanic couples here in AZ. All four are voting for Trump. They hate Kamala's border.
  22. Matt replied to Pete's topic in Current Events
We're headed for an ugly 7 days. Hopefully we know in 8 days who won... This is a REALLY tough one to call. Trump seems to have a ton of momentum, but people are forgetting about 2022. The Red Wave. The Repubs were polling very well in that and fell flat in almost every contest. The Trump campaign needs to run a perfect race the next 7 days, because margins could be razor thin.
  23. One side will completely ignore this because it's their side, but it should be evident and completely non-partisan that this level of corruption needs to be rooted out, and it starts with dismantling the bloated bureaucracy. The left is just pissed it's Trump who is currently championing this cause. Bernie might have helped in this regard, but the DNC power structure is also owned by the uniparty.
  24. It's simple, really. First, you deport the known baddies. We know who they are, and mostly, where they are. Get rid of them. Then, you start going after employers, making it harder to hire illegal workers. This includes all the Guatemalan nannies living in the Hamptons and Beverly Hills. As the work dries up, some leave on their own. Some might need a bit more convincing.
  25. Wonder why. Could it be cause she's a cop who locked them up for minor crimes and laughed about it? Or could it just be her obvious inauthenticity? You don't see Trump speaking in different accents or changing his vocabulary for his audiences...
