Booming as in NOT failing like you like to portray. I visit that area at least every other year and its pretty vibrant. Except for all of the bums. But they are pretty common down the whole coast and southwest.

Lots of lazy people. A lot cheaper than taking the family out for dinner. You wouldn't believe the number of people who order 2-3 times per week. We call them "the gravy".
