A closer look at James Comey

Reality is there are enough ties to Comey and Clinton that he should have recused himself from that investigation.  Lockheed Martin was a donor to the Clinton Foundation.   Comey's brother worked for the law firm auditing the Clinton Foundation taxes.

In August 2005, Comey left the Department of Justice and became general counsel and senior vice president of Lockheed Martin, based in Bethesda, Maryland. In 2010, he became general counsel at Bridgewater Associates, based in Westport, Connecticut. In early 2013, he left Bridgewater to become a Senior Research Scholar and Hertog Fellow on National Security Law at Columbia Law School. He served on the Board of Directors of HSBC Holdings until July 2013

Who might HSBC Holdings Be?  Are they by chance involved with the Clinton foundation?

HSBC Holdings PLC is a British multinational banking and financial services holding company headquartered in London, United Kingdom. It is the world's sixth largest bank by total assets and the largest in Europe with total assets of US$2.374 trillion (as of December 2016). It was established in its present form in London in 1991 by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited to act as a new group holding company.[5][6] The origins of the bank lie mainly in Hong Kong and to a lesser extent in Shanghai, where branches were first opened in 1865.[1] The HSBC name is derived from the initials of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation.[7] The company was first formally incorporated in 1866. The company continues to see both the United Kingdom and Hong Kong as its "home markets".[8]

HSBC has around 4,000 offices in 70 countries and territories across Africa, Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America and South America, and around 37 million customers.[9] As of 2014, it was the world's sixth-largest public company, according to a composite measure by Forbes magazine.[10]

HSBC is organised within four business groups: Commercial Banking; Global Banking and Markets (investment banking); Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking.[11][12]

HSBC has a dual[13] primary listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the Hang Seng Index and the FTSE 100 Index. As of 6 July 2012 it had a market capitalisation of £102.7 billion, the second-largest company listed on the London Stock Exchange, after Royal Dutch Shell.[14] It has secondary listings on the New York Stock Exchange, Euronext Paris and the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

In February 2015 the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists released information about the business conduct of HSBC under the title Swiss Leaks. The ICIJ alleges that the bank profited from doing business with tax evaders and other clients.[15] BBC reported that HSBC had put pressure on media not to report about the controversy, with British newspaper The Guardian claiming HSBC advertising had been put "on pause" after The Guardian's coverage of the matter.[16] Peter Oborne, chief political commentator at The Daily Telegraph resigned from the paper; in an open letter he claimed the newspaper suppressed negative stories and dropped investigations into HSBC because of the bank's advertising.[17]

In 2016, HSBC was sued by Mexican families involved in deaths by organised-crime gangs for processing funds ("money laundering") for the Sinaloa Cartel.[18]

I hope Comey crucifies Trump in public when he testifies as to their conversations and what the investigation into Trump was revealing .....

So you like Comey and think his dismissal was unjustified?

It always makes me wonder.  Are these people corrupt from the beginning (bad parenting?) or, was there a turning point where promises and power made them drop their ethics and morals all together.  American politics.  Gotta Love it!

I thought that Comey was a good man , he was the only one to question the gathering of metadata when they started doing it. He has also done some really pathetic shit too. I think if he was to be fired it should have been done the first week. Not half way through Trump being investigated. The optics of it are so fucking bad its mind blowing

Trump said in November he wouldn't comment on whether Comey would keep his job or not.   Read the letter from Rosenstein.   He made the case clear why Comey should go.   It would have been better shortly after the inauguration but with nothing coming of the Russian investigation its all bullshit made up by the MSM on the firing.

Whats your thoughts on the fact Comey let Hillary off with nothing?   The evidence is building the FBI know's way more about the wikileaks links thru Rich and was doing NOTHING under Comey.   He was no better than the rest of them.

So then you call Comey into your office and tell him that he is going to quietly resign. You tell him that you will give him his proper exiting accolades in the press and that he can come up with whatever reason he likes. You tell him it can be the quiet way where his character is not called into question or you tell him it can be as messy as he wants.

Thank him for his service and then tell him he has 12 hours to decide.

Done

What you dont do is shitcan the guy unceremoniously without so much as a call and then go on a twitter storm assassinating his character and career and making petty insults and threats. Trump is a full blown fucking retard

Don't disagree at all that the method of firing was in poor judgement but the cause was spot on.  Thoughts on my edit to above post?

Im not sure , it all seems so fucking juvenile whenever the whitehouse is involved its tough to take any of it seriously. I hope for the love of god someone with a shred of integrity is put in place at the FBI and that they bring the fucking hammer of justice down on anyone they have evidence on. Grand Jury and indictments for everyone
