Taxed the same.

So that means retards like yourself can pay their share.

So the rest of us can pay less.

No body is taxed the same in the US….  Rich and upper middle class pay the overwelming majority of income taxes. Many Americans pay no income taxes at all.  Something like 35-40% have no income tax obligation.

typical fucking democrats tax the rich stance you have.

Not at all what he said.  He basically just agreed the stupid ev subsidy is bad.

He said the tax incentive didn’t exist everybody would pay less.m which is farther from the truth.

common argument repeated is that EV’s are rich man toys.   Rich people pay the majority of taxes….  By not letting rich utilize tax credits you are advocating in very much are right in the Warren/Sanders/aoc camp if you want the wealthy to pay more by not allowing tax credits

Sounds good to me. If you can afford an $80k electric car, you can afford to pay more taxes.

Black family car gay as fuck no matter the maker what's your point

At this current time I can not think of an uglier car in the price range of a model S. Maybe bmws new massive grill but if you include the interior S is still uglier.

The best shape on the car is the front and they pretty much ripped the lines off from Aston

It's the democrat tax subsidy that this is all about which you are supporting and getting all triggered over.  Rather funny since that is the title of the thread and you are the only one triggered.

Governments literally have to pay people to buy EVs. Without massive subsidization, people choose gas-powered cars. In Germany, the market share of EVs dropped from 55% in December to 15% in January when the government reduced the amount of incentives it was paying consumers to buy EVs.

That one went and was passed.  The one we are discussing now is from  the democrats.

No.  It was increased by Obama.  They were invented by Bush.

Solar and wind tax incentives as they are now were invented by Bush, extended by Trump and renewed again by Biden.

EVs are not the climate-saving solution they got cracked-up to be

Here's The Big Problem With EVs That People Don't Talk About

PUBLISHED 1 DAY AGO

EVs are fast but there is a dark truth underlying the tech: vehicle guru and racer Casey Putsch talks us through the issues a new video.

Via: Standford University

Casey Putsch on YouTube has been on a roll recently with a series of videos, where he takes a break from oily spanner-spinning on sports cars to focus on global issues in the context of car culture.

The man with the cup of coffee has a curriculum heavy in design, engineering and racing, and he draws on his experience today to take on the serious issue of electric cars; why they are not a straightforward solution to climate change and why they might actually be a problem in and of themselves.

EVs are fast, efficient and stylish, but they come with their own cost that could leave both the environment and society worse off: here’s what Casey has to say in what is definitely not a rant.

This Is The Biggest Problem With Electric Cars

Casey puts it like this – EVs are not the climate-saving solution they got cracked-up to be, due to a number of reasons. First off – the car builder, racer and entrepreneur cites the fact that EVs are not good for the planet.

Due to their batteries that require precious, hard-to-source elements in areas that often precludes exploitation, the main part of the powertrain is not easily recyclable and causes more pollution thanks to the toxic makeup of the cells contained within.

He also mentions that the batteries are the weak point in the vehicle, with little possible maintenance in the case of failure or issues, and that due to their irreparability, vehicle write-offs can occur if the battery only suffers minimal aesthetic damage.

Not only are EVs for the most part un-recyclable, expensive, and made from toxic materials, but they also use electricity sourced largely from fossil fuels; just like gasoline-powered cars.
