Gold Member BOHICA Posted January 27, 2023 Gold Member Share Posted January 27, 2023 Growing pretty dang quick. I’ve seen a few pop up last year in my travels. The growth is accelerating pretty quickly year over year. At some point I think the gov is going to step in and break up Tesla…. They are well on the way to establishing a monopoly over US personal auto transport. https://insideevs.com/news/633377/tesla-supercharging-network-2022q4/
Gold Member BOHICA Posted January 27, 2023 Author Gold Member Share Posted January 27, 2023 (edited) Tesla energy grew by leaps and bounds in the 4th quarter. Now that they have a power company operating in both California and Texas, growing generation portfolio and massive amounts of energy storage it’s crazy how quick they can complete projects and bring them online. It’s like GM or Ford owning the Permian Basin, the oil, the refineries and the gas stations. The Tesla Energy business consistently grows and the fourth quarter was not an exception, with especially strong results in the battery energy storage segment. https://insideevs.com/news/633443/tesla-energy-generation-storage-business-2022q4/ Edited February 4, 2023 by BOHICA

Be the best thing to happen for ev market when it happens here. Altho I'm not sure having a piece of less then 5% of the personal auto transport would be considered a monopoly. However the only reason to buy a tesla is the charging net work. Can't be good for them opening it up.
