No.  Not $1200 in fees.  Maybe around 30-40

So you didn't save 3000. Maybe 2000 or so.

Do you have NG?

$5-10k used cars are a fact of life.  $100k+ worth of electric vehicles is a luxury few can afford.  The median household income is the USA is around $68k.  A good rule of thumb for everything with an engine/motor in it is no more than 50% of the household income, or $34k.  That can be done with EVs but we are talking used Nissan Leafs at that point.

That takes out anyone buying a new pickup too.  :(

Yes natural gas.  We have tiered rates based on useage.  More you use the more expensive it gets. .  3 tiers. 800 all in is 11,  800 to 2000 all in at around 14, 2000 and above it would hit 16 ish.  Closer to $3k then 2k. Didn’t super accurate around 2700-2800.

also 1 think if I had a south facing solar array my array would have been less.  Could have went 25-30 percent smaller in size and cost

My rate is .16 and I don't use any where near the electricity you do, mind you I'm gone alot but still I have 3 sump pumps that run continuously in the spring and alot of the summer if it's been wet. I'm lucky if I use 1000 any month.

My ac starts  to come on in April and shuts off in October.  That’s my huge consumer. Think back I did have the Phev so that adds to my useage back then.
