Like vehicles….  EV’s in every scenario cost less over 8 years and 120k miles.

The cost of fuel for a EV is purely speculation.

Why?  It’s not speculative at all that filling an EV at home is very cheap.

At home if you have solar. Not everyone has solar. Most don't. Like I said it's purely speculation.

Price of electricity is a known quantity in the US.

When they've got everyone in EVs you don't think the price will increase substantially?

Nope.  Why would it.  It will increase cause of inflationary pressures.  Most electricity is heavily regulated by public utility commissions.

How's it factor if I buy a $25000 Corolla vs a $80000 Tesla?

Why would you make that comparison.  Tesla aren’t cross shoppers of corollas or vice versa.  2 different class of vehicles.

Why not compare a Corolla to a Bolt?  Sun $30k priced cars.

Why didn't you buy a volt then?

Ok. Cool.

My Corolla is 9 years old, costs ,<$40 week in fuel.

I'm pretty sure a 9 year old bolt is due for a battery change.

Show me the numbers......

Simple economics.

Supply and demand.

Supply grows with demand in electricity market.  Electricity is produced when needed.

most EV’s charge at night when demand is down and plenty of capacity in the grid.  Also with the average drive of maybe 40 miles a day that is only 10-15 kwhs at most for most EV’s.  Not a lot of power ultimately in off demand times

Cause I wasn’t shopping for that class of a car.  It didn’t have the features I desired.  And America you have choices.

Than why are you using it in your comparison.

Bolts are not 9 years old….  This comparison is 2022 Corolla and 2022 bolt comparison.  Not what you are trying to compare at all.

Oil supply grows with demand also.

If everyone plugs their ev in at night, will demand go down at night? Nope! 😂

I never see any EVs charging at night in public. I do however see people sitting and waiting for a charger to be available during the day
