Some tighter racing this year , a little more parity. With those wider, sticky tires there should be more passing at the hairpin this year. And more contenders for the lead, should be good. I am looking into a possible water taxi service for grandstand 24.
JohnnyB
Your not bad at 24, one of the shortest walks, great section. 11,12 are great sections but a looong walk. Water taxi is reserved for paddock Vip's I think. Was a guest at red bull once and got picked up at hotel and put on a boat...nice! Subway and a crowded walk for everyone else. At least you can pack you own cooler with beer of choice and some good eats.
Puzzleboy
Yep. Montreal is a lousy F1 venue. After my brother saw the F1 at Indy, he said never again to Montreal. LOL

2strokemerc
He finally scores some points, at his home track. He'll be happy.
Pt3189
First f1 points for a Canadian not named Villeneuve. The kid drove his best race but would not have gotten points with several Dnfs. His team mate Massa was over a second quicker in qualifying, which is an eternity in equal cars in f1. On the other hand those cars are monsters. Gotta give him credit for the race he drove. Pt3189
The kid kinda fell ass backwards into a podium finish but he has driven 2 clean races in a row. More experienced racers than him were making a shit load of mistakes at that track. They seem to have had a breakthrough on set up as well. StevieWonder
Big fan of Jean Girard even when he even when he moved from F1 to NASCAR , guy can drink a Macciato while driving !
2strokemerc
Lance Stroll is the youngest man ever to qualify on the front row for an F1 race, 23 days younger than Max Verstappen at Spa 2016 https://drivetribe.com/p/italian-grand-prix-7-things-you-cAZ69OhbQRmsIvR3LxNpiw?iid=M8fqIOhjStmE9C6HE9IuXg
Pt3189
He earned a ton of respect today with that drive. Hope he has a good strong run tomorrow.
2strokemerc
Lance Stroll may not always be in the headlines for the right reasons, but the Canadian does have an uncanny ability of setting Formula One records. http://iforsports.com/stroll-sends-record-books-tumbling-italian-grand-prix/
awful knawful
Was a master in the rain yesterday. 7th today was very good in a poor car.
Pt3189
Loved the battle with Massa. Kept him at bay even with an awful flat spot. He and Ocon look like they could be the next wave.
