It’ll cost the Russians the most. Compared to the cost of the last three American wars, this is peanuts. In the meantime Russia is getting depleting everything. Meanwhile america gets to test all those new goodies with no risk to life or limb.

The US is giving Ukraine toaster shakings. Even the MLS rockets they are providing is old stock not the latest and greatest. Man pads and Javelins have all been old stock. The only thing Ukraine might get that is new is GPS guided howitzer rounds and that is a maybe. The US is willing to fight to the last Ukrainian troop.

That’s all for public consumption. The US is taking this opportunity to try out various forms of drone technology. You can bet that the same CIA assets that trained up the Ukrainians are in there right playing with their toys. 100%.

Far from over.   Its likely that Putin underestimated Ukraine's resolve but they have been learning this entire time.  Its far from over and will cost all sides including the US.

Underestimated is an understatement

Ukraine doesnt have any resolve, they have been a failed state for months. Russia has issued 1 million passports to Ukrainian citizens so they can get access to benefits. Thousands of Ukrainians are fleeing to Russian occupied areas for safety. What Ukrainians remain are being forced to fight at gun point or being used as human shields. 70% of the money and weapons that has been sent has been stolen. Zelensky and others have been caught having multiple shell corps and off shore accounts. Any military successes have been carried out by western actors. Russia is getting stronger and the world is getting weaker. This is the worst clusterfuck of our generation.

I see Russia state TV is your favorite channel.....

Test what "goodies?"   We aren't giving them anything super fancy.   I'd argue its costing Ukraine more and what we've already given is almost Russia's yearly military budget.

Phoenix ghost drones. Both Switchblade drone systems. The HIMARS system isn't new, but like the drones, it's the first time used against the Russian infantry and its defenses. There's also the tech which has resulted in the precision elimination of high ranking Russians in command positions. As for the CIA's involvement, they're not going to tell all on what equipment is in use. There's also an understanding being gained of the battlefield strategy used by the Russians. Basically it's still a highly centralized form of warfare. Clumsy and lacks the fluidity of how the CIA trained the Ukrainians to conduct combat.

The only thing that they learned is that the Ukrainians didn't roll out the welcome mat. They're fighting the same type of war strategy used in Chechnya and Georgia. There's no learning curve here. It's Russian warfare 101. Kill civilians and wreck the buildings where they live. The only thing that they do well is artillery.

Without USA support where would Ukraine be at this point?

How much more of our cash do they need to finish this?

Is this our war now?

probably could of rebuilt our entire electric grid for the money we’ve stuck in Ukraine and at least we would of gained something!!

Good post...
