That is the article from the UN prediction in 1989. None of it came true. The point is they weren't even close to right with that prediction as they weren't when they were predicting in the 70's we were going into an ice age. Here is reality, the earth is covered in ice more than it is in an interglacial period. We have been going thru ice age periods (100,000 years ice, 15,000 interglacial) for millions of years. If anything mankind should be trying to keep the planet warm. We are a little over 2/3rds the way thru this interglacial period and when we start entering an ice age it will be at a far greater loss of life then warming up a few degree's.
