Sold it like 6 or 7 yrs ago with 100k on it . That’s not bad really I mean think if it was a 05 chevy/dodge/Ford truck there be nothing left of the lower panels. The big 3 don’t do anything from what I’ve seen even on 100k trucks. foam in cars is usually structural it’s actually called structural foam. It supposedly makes the car stronger. Supposedly. That's the key word there and what some might actually believe. Truth is, imo, they know exactly what will happen after a few years.

I think they put it in because of the original piss poor design that got shit scores on crash ratings so they spray bunch of that crap all in it to make it stronger. Just my thinking no idea if it’s true.

Ford bed falling off sounds about right. The European car manufacturers definitely do a way better job of rust prevention.

After they Ballon out it is a real pita to get them open or shut . the shitty fast hose clips are shit and fucked me a few times . But other than that no major issues and my lowest mi one is the 14 with 180 k and the 12 has 215k both 5.0 with almost zero reg maint 15 to 18k oil changes and both have had quick clip tranny lines bust so that was close enough to a fluid change in my book lol breaks and tread that's it Radios nop jbl Bluetooth speaker. heater fans togel switch . Oh electric powersteering on the 12 that was a big$ part 1500 or more just for the rack if I remember Edited September 1, 2021 by Ez ryder
