Since its based on a past Daytona pay out I think it has something to do with specific corporate sponsor money.

Example: some cars have a deal with Coke and if you do you get some Coke money on top.

I remember yeas back that Richard Petty's mother had forbid the family from making money off alcohol so they never had alcohol related products on their cars. No Bud sticker on your fender meant no sponsor money from Bud for a race finish.

Thats right...they never competed in the clash either because of it.

Only 36 cars entered in Atlanta race lowest number in decades. NASCAR continues its decline and no-show France does nothing.

Seriously...damn.

Nascar is in serious trouble and doesn't seem to be doing anything to try to address their problems.

Maybe The  Frances selling is a good idea.

KB put the 18 on the pole and Newman got outside pole. Could RCR be for real this year?

Newman learned from his early years of wheeling  , sign to multi exclusive corporate sponsors  that the driver takes with him , not the team owner , as long as Cat and the other smaller deals are happy with him he will have a ride. Newman tends to run the cars way over their limit , worse when he gets pissed off. imo.

Didn't realize Bass Pro Shops owned Cabelas....apparently Pop Pop introduced Austin and Ty to hunting and the outdoors...once again no mention of their dad Mike Dillon.

Jesus made the Atlanta field , I guess if our Washington D.C. shithole of so called elected leaders can be as old as dirt , francecar will let him race till he's six foot under the dirt.  Pass the collection plate after ten laps .

NASCAR moves up start time for Sunday’s Monster Energy Series race at Atlanta

The Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 was originally set for a green flag at 2:16 p.m. ET (FOX, PRN, SiriusXM). That start time — and all pre-race ceremonies — have been rescheduled for one hour, 10 minutes earlier.

Officials reached that decision Saturday morning, faced with an 80 percent chance of precipitation in the race-day forecast at the 1.54-mile track, according to the National Weather Service.

Driver introductions are now scheduled for 12:15 p.m. ET. The revised green flag time is 1:06 p.m. ET.
