CDC gives cruises the go-ahead

I'm not much for cruises.  Was on one when I was younger for a big family vacation but that's it.  My wife hasn't been on one and doesn't want to.

They are good for the older crowd who wouldn't otherwise leave a hotel or resort.

i would drive down,  she actually has to be up here for work whereas I can stay down for the 10 weeks and work remote so she would have to fly back and forth.  

I think 2 of my office mates are going to do the same this winter.   1 has a house in Sarasota that he is going to make his primary residence and he went down a few weeks ago and plans to be there most of the time until late April.  The other one was spending 20k on a family trip to the Caribbean but instead is thinking renting a house down there for the same money and his wife can stay the whole time, kids can visit a few times and he will be down 4 days a week.  What we have all learned from Covid is we can all do as much business not always being here by using technology.  We now have employees in something like 25 states because they can all work remote even though we only have physical locations in 15+- states.
