I have no mortgage, live in a modest yet very nice rural home. Do not finance vehicles. I have been self employed for the past 25 years and never once needed a government benefit to pay a bill. I never worry about money, as a matter of fact, I could live on my passive income right now for the rest of my life, as could my wife. We do not have to work. However, building more wealth is a good thing. Why, because you never know what might be down the road.
