CD clocked the RWD one at 3.8  I think these new TC systems are getting so good the RWD ones aren't at a disadvantage anymore....

Anything under 5 seconds to me is pretty friggin quick.  :bc:   Under 4 seconds is nuts.

I’ll get some pics this afternoon. Cleaned up the engine this morning  and got some under hood stuff stripped. With the turbos and the bolt ons it should pull 500 hp and gobs of torque reliably. There’s numerous owners of N54 motors that are north of 600 reliably. For race they’ve taken them to the mid 700 range. Maybe even more recently.

Cleaned up the engine bay and replaced both the valve cover gasket and oil filter housing gasket. The latter was leaking pretty badly. The problem with n54 motors is the belt becomes saturated with oil and then separates. Pieces of the belt get sucked through the front seal and plugs the oil pump screen. The belt was intact on inspection. It’s one of the first things to look at when buying an n54 car. I think that the pan gasket has already been changed and the oil dripping from that area was coming from above. I cleaned everything up and I’ll watch for a leak.

Looks nice and clean. Looking forward to more updates once you add more power.

It was a basket case under the hood. The nice thing about oil soaked engines and engine bays is that they preserve well.
