He was a big dollar guy too, had a training center that brought in big bucks and had top race horses that made money to. Some years ago I claimed a horse from him for $10,000 we moved the horse to a $12,000 claimer and he claimed it back, I went up to him and said damn it you owe me $ 50.00 I just had front shoes put on, he reached into his pocket to give me the money when I told him I was joking, he said are you sure I don't want you to be mad, I said I just made $2000.00 in a week I'm good.
