They didn't use to put that sawhorse gate there and you could back up to the snow and unload. Ahhhhhh gotcha lol

When I've ridden in May in Pittsburg it really isn't that bad. Sure there are short sections here and there without snow, but it really isn't usually anymore than a typical road crossing. The bare ground in the piics is the end of East Inlet road. When I've been there in May there was a snowbank on one side or the other to ride. Platinum Contributing Member steve from amherst Posted May 14, 2019 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted May 14, 2019 1 yr I fished the ct river the weekend before memorial day. The next day I wanted to fish little diamond pond. Drove up there and there was a 6 ft snowbank at the launch and it was still frozen solid. A friend of mine hiked up there of the 4th of July one year and said there were still patches of snow under some of the spruce trees. 25 minutes ago, steve from amherst said: 1 yr I fished the ct river the weekend before memorial day. We got talking about sleds and he was trying to remember the name of the cabins he rents. I mentioned 45th parallel and he was like yeah that's it.

We had a little snow mix in with the rain this morning, but it didn't amount to anything. When I went to town earlier you could see snow on the hills.
