Dieselgeek
Scot Peterson, the sheriff’s deputy vilified for failing to confront the Parkland school shooter, has begun receiving a state pension of $8,702.35 a month. The 55-year-old Peterson, a Broward deputy for 32 years, was paid $101,879.03 last year — $75,673.72 in base salary plus overtime and other compensation, according to sheriff’s office record. Nice gig! $104,428.20 annual pension! Great job deputy. Edited December 31, 2018 by Dieselgeek

Exactly. Bunch of cowards who should have enacted gun control legislation, before Sandy Hook and are still scared of the NRA. Fucking cowards.

Reduce access to firearms will decrease shootings. How many school shootings have there been in Canada, England or Australia? How many mass shootings? Those 3 countries are very similar to the US with the exception of gun culture. Right now we’ve had a huge spike in shootings in Toronto. Mainly gangs fighting it out. I bet you’ll see new laws and tougher penalties within a year. Dave, Arctic Beta and Ron will cry but it will happen. Quebec had an issue with bike gang wars a bunch of years ago. It was fine letting them kill themsleves until one innocent kid got killed. That’s all we needed and there was a crackdown. But then again we value our children. Same with Australia, one horrible event and they went to town. Aussies are a bunch of freedom loving people with the same type of history of taming an unforgiving land as the US. But they value their kids. Not like the cowards in US politics. You’re owned by the NRA which was infiltrated by Russia. Let that sink in for a while. Platinum Contributing Member steve from amherst Posted December 31, 2018 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted December 31, 2018 Please elaborate on " reduce access to firearms" for who, all people? Keep in mind there are already over 300 million firearms in circulation in the US. As far as the biker war went it's end had less to do with the crackdown and more to do with neither club being able to make any money. Platinum Contributing Member steve from amherst Posted January 1, 2019 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted January 1, 2019 (edited) It should be mentioned that little 12 yr old Daniel who was killed in that biker war wasn't killed by a bullet. He was killed by a car bomb. When access to guns is limited and people still have the desire to kill each other . they do so thru other means. Remember after Oklahoma how the rules changed to limit access to the materials from that terrorist attack? It worked. Just like it worked when the Aussies wanted to protect their children.
