xtralettucetomatoe580
Anyone with a brain knows that comment is hyperbole. Obama’s, however, that was a different. Not a good comparison. Everyone knows that Trump speaks in this grandeur half bullshit way.

I was struck by the Nevada caucus-goer who said that Trump “tells it like it is.” It’s one of Trump’s strengths. An exit poll taken during the South Carolina Republican primary, for example, reported that 78 percent of voters who said “tells it like it is” was the top quality they’re looking for in a candidate said that they supported Trump. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2016/03/04/trump-tells-it-like-it-is-thats-not-necessarily-a-good-thing-for-democracy/?utm_term=.cf7c0d6a5959

Anyone with a brain knows it isn’t possible to have not even one plant close down. It’s hyperbolic rhetoric. Obama’s statement was a statement of supposed fact. It’s a big difference. Look I’m not throwing cover for Trump here, but the comparison is poor and is for the weak minded. Obama, who’s admin authored the ACA, had every ability to declare and stick to his promise to allow people to keep their doctor. They didn’t. Use your head...

Let’s talk health plan for health plan talk. Did Trump lie about having a plan that would cover everyone for a fraction of the cost? At least Obama had a plan. Doing it makes you look like someone who doesn’t have the mental capacity to debate your own prior statement. Trump’s plan is irrelevant since Trump’s plan wasn’t approved by Congress. Obama’s was. You act like having a plan pass is somehow a leg up... The ACA has failed to keep prices down, lower the cost of drugs, or drastically improve the lives of Americans as promised. There are absolutely some good things in the ACA like pre existing, but don’t act like it was a win as a whole. Now back to the topic at hand. Comparing Trump’s comments to Obama’s is not logically sound. Feel free to debate that. You won’t because for as much bluster as you try to bring, ya just aren’t that bright. Platinum Contributing Member Highmark Posted November 28, 2018 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted November 28, 2018 Talked to a buddy last night who owns a dealership that carries a couple GM lines. Dealers not happy about the plant decisions. Agree's with the models being trimmed but not the closure of so many US plants.

If GM would have placed the blazer plant in Detroit/ham this situation would be much better.

Trump didn't have a plan. They just put some bullshit plan together that was nothing like what he promised he had during the election. It's worse lie than Obama's and if you had half a brain you would realize it.

You are acting that everyone got to choose their Dr before Obamacare. Wasn't there many cases where insurance companies would make people see the Dr. associated with the insurance company. Then that Dr. was tasked with saving the insurance co money and may not have had the patients best interests in mind.

You can minimize it however you wish, but the fact is that was a big lie. Does that make the ACA irrelevant and a failure? No, but the fact that prices continued to rise, drug prices rose, and overall care did not improve does. The preexisting conditions cause was a great thing. They nailed that.
