They increased spending because it was an election year and its better for both parties if they are not beating each other over the head over economy stifling cuts. Fuck as soon as the pubes had the trifecta they rang that cash register right the fuck up, just like they did in 2001. War gives them a blank check. Honestly just on the government spending stupidity right now alone I'm not sure I could vote for another republican president, maybe the goal should be Pub congress and Dem president Clinton style, but they are all way more nutty and partisan today to get back to that cohesiveness again I think...
