  2. I recently installed grips and what worked good was spraying the inside of the grip with a little brake clean then quickly sliding them on. Had enough lubrication to make installation easy then quickly dried and left no residue while also helping the rubber adhere to the element. Also for my 08 switchback, I went to the dealer for an element. They tried to sell me a universal kit for $100. I gave them the factory part number for the element and they had a couple in stock for $40. Came with the factory plug an everything. Didn't have to fuck around to change my stuff to accommodate the universal kit plug ends.
  3. Well that sucks, I got twofiddy lmao edit: that is Canadian rubles as well lol.
  4. Lmao. I dabble in the alcohols as well but zero smokeables of any kind for me lol. The beers definitely effect my latency though lmao.
  5. I am 29, so I dabble in the games probably more than I should lmao.
  6. My speeds are ok as I am like 500ft from the tower with direct line of sight. I am trying to reduce latency.
  7. I know I won't be able to get great internet but wasn't sure if I would make an acceptable cost/performance change or if I was hooped lol.
  8. So I am on LTE internet from a tower to a modem/receiver on my roof. I get a mediocre 25(ish) MBs download and a 1.5(ish) upload with subjection to traffic, weather, aliens on the moon lol. So I am looking to reduce my latency while gaming. I called my ISP and they said upgrading to the very recently available 50mbs plan won't affect my latency and that maybe if I update my router it would help a bit. I am currently running a 3.5 year old TP-Link archer C60. I am running a wired connection to my PS4/PC. While in games on my PC which allows me to see my latency, I am averaging 110ms with spikes sometimes up in the 600s. When the wife is on Netflix or streaming content of any kind, it can (but not always) cripple my bandwidth and basically crash my online game. Watching some videos and doing some research, apparently a better router should make for a better online experience. Can anyone shed some light on this and maybe have some router/internet setting suggestions that would improve my lame internet lol. Edit: I need some damn snow so I can ride my already expensive hobby vs sitting inside spending money on my PC and internet lmao.
  9. Ahh, did a quick google and there is some exceptions
  10. I took my pal in October and the instructor said that all semi auto guns are limited to 5 round magazines?
  11. A perfect example of that is a Lee Enfield. A bolt action, 30 cal gun with a detachable 10 round magazine. They have exploded in price over they years with a sporterized ones going for $350ish and original stock ones $800+. But they used to be $50 and there are millions around. In Canada it is illegal to have a .22 semi auto with a magazine capacity more than 5 rounds. Tell me Liberal gun grabbers, can your .22 do this? (1/4" ar400 plate)
  12. Ya, super happy we stuck with her. She is a great dog but still has issues staying in the yard so she doesn't get a ton of off leash time but we do some off leash walks around out place so they can run and get some exercise.
  13. Lol. It was a very ruff start for the black and white Huskey. But after 3 years, she seems to have settled down lmao.
  14. Well now that after 13ish years of FS, I am officially a contributing member and have access to Dog photos incoming!!!!
  15. Lmao. I try to distance myself from "those" Subaru owners lol
  16. Zero haze as they are glass not plastic.
  17. It is getting to the point of changing out the headlight bulbs in my car. It is a '97 WRX with halogen bulbs that could very well be original. I bought the car 5.5 years ago with only 89,000kms and I have yet to change them. The lights are dim on low beam but still ok on high but definitely showing their age. I was looking at maybe some led bulbs but they are twice the price of something like a silverstar. Also my housings are glass and thanks to all the gravel we dump on the roads here in Alberta, my headlight lens have a couple of holes as well as my glass fog lights. I thought about replacing the housings but it would cost around $350-$400 to put used ones in. So far the holes haven't cause any bulbs to burn out yet. So I guess my questions are does anyone have any experience with led bulbs in halogen housings, are they worth the extra money, would the holes in my housings spell the end for led bulbs in short order, and if led or halogen-any recommendations? Old photo of when I picked it up and it was still in really nice shape, not so much anymore lol.
