Pompeo Says It Was Act of War By Iran
Carlos Danger replied to Jimmy Snacks's topic in Current Events
I would argue that the division between Saudi and Iran has had more to do with the unrest in the ME than even Israel. -
The COO of our company just traded in his BMW M1 for a Supra......now I have to question his judgement. I will say it is much smaller in person.

8 Years of Trump Tax Returns Are Subpoenaed by Manhattan D.A.
Carlos Danger replied to Mainecat's topic in Current Events
My fear is that this type of investigation becomes standard political practice in the future which would certainly guarantee we never see a quality candidate from either party. I feel the line between criminal and just plain embarrassing will be crossed when the inevitable leaking starts from these tax returns hits the willing press. -
Is that a disco ball?

Plasma coating is junk.

For a single part you went the right way.

I just teed up a pair of 20 gallon tanks. We have three places to get propane in town and right now it runs a little over $2.50 a gallon which is more than $1.50 cheaper than the delivery service wants and they charge for the tank rental as well. On demand water heater, stove fill the three cans that I have twice a year.

One of the fixtures I made is for putting a stake pin in the center of bushing at an angle of 30 degrees. The bushing is only .200 thick and the hole in the center is only 3/8 or .375. the pin has to be on center line +/- .005 and the depth of the hole is .120 +/- .010 as any deeper makes the drill go out the side of the bracket which makes it junk. So the drill is .051 and the bushing is made of Cobalt which is not exactly the cotten candy of materials. Without replaceable drill bushings it would be impossible. Simple fixtures may have a dozen or more bushings for drilling broken bolts out of a bolt pattern.

So I used to work with this nutty guy who had spent 10 years in the Navy working on a repair vessel. So he and another knuckle head end up making a wood bandstand on the deck of the ship to be used at the post they are on route to. So standard procedure at the time was to turn on the Ciwz as soon as you got out of port and into international waters. So these two nuts are using nail guns to bang this structure together and for fun they start to hold the safety back and shoot a few nails into the ocean. Well the Ciwz picked up on a stray nail and let off a few rounds thinking it was an inbound missle. He says they both ended up in the brig.

Yea I can't really show you pics of work fixtures. Drill bushings can be bought in different holes sizes that are just a tad bigger than the drill being used. The advantage is they are a high enough Rockwell number as to wear out the drill rather than allow the location of the hole to be moved or worn out of spec.

Seems like everything I work with is made of unobtainium.

I have a few jobs where a hole needs to be drilled at an angle like you have through a Cobalt bushing to a depth. The solution is hardened drill bushings press into a small fixture. It gets rid of the side loads on the drill and gives you location control.

When you say it out loud it sounds outrageous......800 skidoo motor is junk after 5k..... quite the selling feature.

We have a bunch of Owls around the house. I was driving out of the neighborhood going down a small hill when a owl flew right over the top of my truck about ten feet off the ground and proceeded to fly about 4 houses down to pounce on a squirrel on someone's lawn. In the time it took me to drive a few hundred feet he had already popped the head off said squirrel.

This is a total Ben click bait thread. Ben would have clicked on this if he had to give his credit card number to a Nigerian prince.
