Everybody is in the backyard tonight.

A guy in our snowmobile club has an SSR sitting in his garage. I've known the guy for years and only found out a month ago. I remember some guy was advertising one for sale about 20 years ago. It was still in its original shipping crate and he was asking $10k.

Picture quality sucks because it was misting rain but the first deer to eat in the backyard since April. I counted 4 different ones past the camera, all with antlers. Added to more from 645 this morning. I added more feed moved the feed closer to the camera at 515am before getting in the cab to head for Florida. The wife was “wtf are you doing?”

The guy who is never ready to ride. I got a buddy who always would say " ride over to my place, I'll be ready when you get here." You show up and he says "I just got to throw a couple bolts on and I'll be good. 5 more minutes." ....lol

Merry Christmas. Gift from my 87 year old mother. She knows just what I like.

There was a good group of us that came out of the Ontario section in the late 2000's. We had a good time.

I rode with Rev and Ice a couple of times. Last I heard, Ice had gotten busy with family and stepped away from sledding. He got interested in flying and bought a plane. Rev had blown his motor and it had been lying apart for a few years when I had him at my house 12-13 years ago. He had started a spray insulation business and I had him spray the entire exterior of my house while we were replacing the sliding. I called him when I was doing the addition on the house 3 years ago. He was hard to get a hold of but finally came out and gave me a quote. I said go ahead, he said he was busy for a couple weeks but he could do it in 3 weeks. After 3 weeks I called and texted but he wouldn't call or text back. I gave up and hired someone else. The guy I hired was half the price. I think Rev thought he had quoted high enough that I wouldn't hire him. But it was Covid and I needed it done, no position to argue. No hard feelings on my end. I hope he's doing alright.

I live in a populated area, 600-700,000 people locally. They get so many people wanting to help that they have to keep it quiet otherwise every dickhead with an ATV shows up. Its by invitation only. The last club I was with took care of 40 miles of trail. Easy to get 20-25 guys out on a couple Saturdays and the bulk of the staking and signage is done. I'm with another club now. I sent a text to one of the main guys last week to let him know I'm available anytime from now until Christmas and I have my Kubota UTV here if needed. I don't expect a call. They have people to do what needs done.

Doug is finally going to get beer into corner stores. Go Doug!!!! The Ontario government is set to announce it is fulfilling its five-year-old promise to allow the sale of beer in corner stores and end the quasi-monopoly of the province’s big-brewer-owned Beer Store retail chain. A government source has told The Globe and Mail that late next week, Premier Doug Ford’s government will unveil a plan to expand the places where alcohol is sold, including allowing beer in corner stores. The Globe is not identifying the source, as they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly. The province will also formally announce its intention for the future of its deal with the Beer Store, known as the “master framework agreement,” signed by the previous Liberal government in 2015. The deal allowed for the limited sale of beer in 450 grocery stores, but maintained the Beer Store’s exclusive right to sell packs of 12 and 24 beers.

Wife had the tree up 2 weeks ago. She’s not sure if she will finish decorating or not because the grandson is 13 months so for now it’s staying like this. The downstairs tree is in the same state. Im not done outside either but not sure I will do much more. Maybe a couple more deer and light one more tree because I have them. Yep, we got Christmas crap everywhere….lol
