  1. All the more reason these forums have greater value.....perhaps a thread will need to be pinned listing "closed trails", assuming if people in the know can post up confirmed findings/closures...
  2. Perhaps as the season starter actually gets closer, that section of the trail will be removed from the interactive guide, if not, it should be.....otherwise people will think that it is still Red for some other silly reason & not that the trail is really CLOSED.

teambellypan....but the site appears to be down right now. When FS closed the door, some went to TBP, some came back to FS and others just said screw it altogether....

I don't go there much either, the "Canada" / Ontario playground over there is pretty much "dead" as Blackstar pointed out one day, than decided to post a couple of gays running around slamming all the guys in sight from the rear ...maybe he can link it up here.... I am sure the CE section is no different than the one here.
  5. Looks good, welcome back to the dark/smokey side....I thought you sold the old one, is that it under the AC cover?
  6. The kid has a life jacket on, just watch the video, plain as day! And what is so wrong with letting your kid, or another kid take a rip in your boat with you.....either attach the tether to the driver or grab onto it, either way if something goes wrong or starts too, the engine will be killed, as for the affect it might cause, I guess that will depend on a few factors that could all change in seconds!
  7. You have a sickness, Irv

    House build

And basement walls and sill plate?
  9. My senario is based on house accounts normally, so it is usually not worth the fight seeing as the overall margin over the course of year doing business with them is not affected by the one or two small jobs, and they can feel like they are in control.

Thanks.....I keep meaning to look in their stores for this stuff....but Cdn Tire is just easier as I am there on a semi regular basis.
  11. My client, who works for the same company just in the corporate office, actually stated the same thing....I guess they are not interested in getting future work done in a decent timeline or at all.... I told my client the same thing when he asked me what I tell other clients who have the same concerns....I told him to be honest, I think this might be a first for this, usually it is client disagreeing with an invoice after all is done and said with, due to time billed vs time on site.....

If correct, I am surprised given last year.....good & bad, I guess. Anyone know how clubs with snow last year did financially with this new pricing schedule and another year under their belt with the new system in place?
  14. In regards to the Tim's comment: I was having some work done in an Edmonton office a few weeks ago, guys go down to their service vehicle to get some supplies from the van and figured they would also at the same time stop for their break at Timmies seeing as they were at ground level. The client, who office that they were doing the work in is also down there in line grabbing a coffee, or whatever....I get a call from my client a few days later that the person in the office that the work was being done who saw the guys at Timmies was questioning why they guys are stopping for a coffee and are they expected to pay for that, I told my client, yes, it is the law that in Canada we are ALL entitled to paid breaks each and everyday we work, 2 paid breaks as a matter of fact, my client really did not know what to respond to his client with, so he thought he would ask me for my opinion in regard to this situation.....
  15. The union city system is not conducive for people to over achieve or try and excel at what they do, the under achievers are the ones getting further ahead or not getting disciplined for lack of performance, setting the bar extremely low. If you are a person that wants to excel in that environment, you need to have some thick skin. Or just not give two shits on just about anything....
  16. Fail is starting to warm back up....always good for some entertaining reading! Welcome back, are you also warming up to the sled ride & beers notion?!?!
  17. At least you know where you should stand when dealing another dealer!

I don't get this either....you can ride lots of good trails, as long as you are willing to trailer a bit, I know many dot not want to, but it is becoming a reality if you want to ride during our winters as of late, unless you live North of course.
  19. Any of the HD trucks are not cheap, the 1/2 ton market has a lot more to offer for deals....and if you do not need an HD, especially a dirty one, why spend the extra coin. Good luck on the possible house purchase, hopefully the market dies down some in the next couple of years...
  20. I guess you do not fall into the leftard criteria to receive the publically funded money tree Pfft, just pennies a day, who cares, small price to pay.... Besides, once Canada really opens our doors to immigration, our economy will be spinning so fast, we will not know what to do with all those tax dollars...we have a shit ton of free space to fill up, just think of the possibilities
  21. I am surprised the GM falls short, figured it would be a good comparison with trade offs on both sides. Going back to the Ford for 2018, or still on the fence?
  22. So Ben, first it was the Ford Powerjoke, now the Dirtymax, when you stepping up to a real truck, the Cummins....when Ram redesigns the HD line up in another year or so? That is a nice looking truck you have there though, how does it compare to the Ford with both of them being V8's?.
  23. Whatever the publicized number is, ya know the real number is always way over that.... I am starting to think that maybe this national and provincial debt really is not that big a deal after all.....money for everyone!

Rethinking this Harley purchase of yours and ya know you might want to buy one sooner rather than later, there just might be some days throughout the winter that you can ride it....I know last year I recall seeing quite a few out on the roads during the lovely wintery days we had, guys with sleds & Harleys may have just put more miles on the bike than the sled last year!
