It will be declared a national emergency....It will not languish in the courts for years. It will be expeditiously ruled on and if it reaches scotus, his 2 picks will payoff bigly. He will have everyone who works on the borders vouching its an emergency and the alarming increase in illegals attempting to enter this past year IS an emergency as well as the huge upsurge in family attempts.

He has been harping about our border problem since the first initial debates on stage with the other 16 or so nimrods. Since then he has spent time down at the border has seen first-hand what is going on and has also visited the victims families taken by illegals. Some of its political posturing but he does have a genuine knowledge and concern that it's a real problem

Im throwing him under the bus in 3 weeks if he doesn't get his funding or use the EO. Reopening short term was his only option and proof that he has exhausted all avenues in trying to reach an agreement in good faith.

He could do that as well. Pelosi said she would still fight it......but really if any of these challenges make it to the highest court, it will be a slamdunk for Trump.

There's a lot of short-sightedness on this..... Trump is smart like a fox. After 3 weeks he will use the EO. His EO will be challenged in court ,he had to exhaust all his options first before he enacts the EO. This "caving " showed he was trying to negotiate and compromise and did all he could. He will have a very good chance of this not being overruled for doing so. Thank you Brent Kavanaugh
