speaking of taxes ... vehicle regs and tags
My district needs $300,000 to repair the grooming fleet of 22 machines. There are 15 districts in the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs. The OFSC has roughly 250 Groomers, province wide. The budget for the entire province, for repairs, is $1,000,000. There has been no new groomers for 2 years and there is zero new machines coming. There is a fundamental shift coming to the Ontario trail system. The taps have run dry. My club is fortunate I have a shop, tools and talent that means my groomer repair costs are minimal. I don't even dwell on how much time and money I put into organized snowmobiling. 500 km this year on my sled. At least 1000 km in the groomer.

Biden Didn't Sign Any Pardons
The all powerful "they" tried like the dickens to get Trump, now it's Biden's turn. Will this be par for the course in 3.5 years if the tables turn? Not a doubt in my mind it will.

$15 a year for the tag, $220 a year for the trail pass. That $220 may sound high, but I encourage anyone that snowmobiles in Ontario to take a look at the below. There will need to be massive, unpopular but necessary changes. 2025_2026 OFSC Budget Summary.pdf

Montana says... pay up Californians
Isn't Montana the state where people register their vehicles, so they pay far less in sales tax? Think that is what the Steve Lehto did a podcast on.

speaking of taxes ... vehicle regs and tags
$285 for my pick up. $15 for each sled. Everything else, our premier made "free" 2 years ago. 'Bout one of the only things I agree with him on.

So Carney Lied.
Did you just realize he's a chronic liar? He's a no good, two faced sack of shit with many a hidden agenda.
-
So Carney Lied.
There hasn't been a budget in over a year, nor do they plan to have one until the fall at earliest. Tariff's will hurt Canadians. I can fault Carney for many things, but not making me pay more to import something, ain't one of them. Perhaps you can send the money to the treasury, as is always an option for you lefties that don't support tax cuts.

Trump tells Walmart to 'eat the tariffs' instead of raising prices
Walmart, the altruistic. Unlikely, if the board of directors know what's good for them. If I own shares I sure as fuck hope not.

CBCB.C ostrich farm 'devastated' after federal judge rules c...A Federal Court judge has tossed out a challenge that would have stopped the killing of about 400 ostriches on a British Columbia farm that suffered an outbreak of avian flu.

Trumps new pal….the Syrian president..
Given his history, I'd have thought Harold would have at least a slight problem with the Saudi's and their ilk. I suppose that's the art of the deal. No hard feelings 'bout all your friends and coworkers. I eagerly away the next Supernova, where hamas and the families of the victims enjoy a warm embrace,

Trumps new pal….the Syrian president..
I don't often agree with you, but this time you are close to the mark. These women beating, tower toppling, plane crashing goat fuckers are not our friends, nor should they be. Whoops....I forgot media suppressing, journalist killing

Garage Sales
There is a place a few doors down from me that has a "garage sale" every weekend. I live in a town that tourists come by all summer. As annoying as it is, it's their property, their stuff. Freedom baby...can you feel it?

Canadians Want To Sell Their U.S. Homes—but It’s Complicated
I am a fan of air bnb. 3 weeks at an air bnb is less than the fees for a time share of similar length, or the taxes on a typical vacation home....and I get to pick the when and where. I've been a cottage owner, and will have the means to be again in the very near future. Nope. Renting is far and away a better deal, for myself.

Canadians Want To Sell Their U.S. Homes—but It’s Complicated
There is a real and present danger that a secondary residence will be wealth taxed annually, and taxed at an exorbitant rate, in the very near future. Our "leaders" have spent Canada into the poor house, and since our economy and real private sector GDP numbers are abysmal, this may be one method of carrying on the grift. It's far more difficult to defend raising income taxes on the working man, than to tax those "rich enough" to own multiple homes.
-
Corporate tax rates below 10%…WTF
Our leader has his business interests in The Isle of Man and Bermuda. At least the Mango Monster has his headquarters in a state that hates his guts.

High speed internet is woke
The interwebs are.... A: Racist B: Unconstitutional C: Woke D: All of the above. I've up until last month, I've always had what would be considered very low speeds and run a business on it. You deal with it. I also never expected others to pay, for my choice to live rurally.
