  1. X2 My wife is unhappy with the gallon jar of pickled eggs I bought last week.,
  2. Canada needs a castle doctrine. I want to get my wife more comfortable with weapons. Been a while since I showed her how to load the 12 gauge, aim and fire. She did not like it. I doubt she remembers any of it. We live in a rural environment, and the risk of similar is low, but it’s never zero. I technically live on a farm, so the storage rules on non restricted don’t apply. All firearms get locked in a cabinet, and safe however. I bought a Byrna a while back. I’m going to get her comfortable with it. It’s as close to the Jericho .45 I have, as fuck is to swearing. Like to get her to try it out. The buckmark .22 I have would likely just be as effective a deterrent, without the recoil. Trained memory is all one needs. Canada however doesn’t allow for the pepper or CS gas rounds yet. I hope that changes. I’ve zero problem assessing a threat and dealing appropriate force, quickly and efficiently. I think she’d hesitate. The Byrna hopefully changes her attitude. Non lethal. It should be a given it’s a free and ready option. I think Canadian attitudes are getting more in line with judged by 12 vs carried by 6.
  3. Not combat per say but good on him. Still don't like his politics, but everyone is entitled to be wrong.,
  4. Bill Clinton was the last President that had a balanced budget. No party's hands are clean.
  5. My question is, when are those on the right side of the political spectrum going to start punching below the belt too? It's fine to be virtuous, but in this case it's better to be victorious. Trumpy bear said, this is a fight for your country. Start fighting dirtier than your rivals.
  6. China and the US aren't even in the top 5 of population decreasers. Benji, Putin, Zelensky, Hamas and Mr BBQ FTW!!
  7. What is wrong with a well proportioned peanut butter, peanut butter, peanut butter and banana sammich? I have to use that to nudge the wife when she is offering one up.
  8. What boggles my mind is how amongst all the financial pressures on average Canadians, Trudeau , on April first raised the carbon tax, next week will have a budget that spends another 50 billion more than we will take in and really doesn’t give a flying fuck how many Canadians get deeper and deeper in debt and despair every day. i hope that fucker gets cancer, long, drawn out painful cancer. His champagne socialist bulllshit needs us storming the halls of parliament. Let them eat cake comes to mind.
  9. Was it per person? I'd thought it was for say the average family of four, one income. Even a family making 80k pre tax, that's a huge kick in the nards.
  10. Our head idiot takes none of the blame. The politicians that had a hand in the inflation now complain that interest rates should be lowered. Lowering interest rates now would just start the cycle again. Thankfully our banking heads do not take direct orders from the politicians or we'd be even more fucked.
  11. C'mon man....just get an electric car and you will save waayyy more than $1000 a month. Pinky swears.
  12. I thought it was the slightly different case of communists don't really care about people, only the movement. Fish gonna swim, birds gonna fly, hood rats gonna hood rat. None should be shocking nor surprising...unless you are somehow involved in media
  13. Only 116 people killed in Chicago, that's only like one a day? Why do I think that number is way low?
  14. But wait, there’s more. Act now and the first 20 callers get a free homeless encampment and drug injection site!!
  15. No poutine. Wrong province, but you’ll be right next door. Act now, this is a limited time offer
  16. I didn’t. I did now… Why not just give everyone a million dollars? Then a million dollars is not worth anything, like a $50/hr minimum wage. The lack of economic reality runs deep, all over. Take our supreme leader for example. He wants our central bank to lower interest rates, all the while deficit spending a half trillion dollars
  17. Perhaps it’s an all you can eat buffet, and this is a self preservation strategy?
  18. Many Canucks would happily offer up this particular area of commie infested swamp land As a happy coincidence, almost exactly what Russia just stole. You will need to fumigate before use.
  19. It’s corporate welfare, nothing less. I agree, taxes are close to theft. If gas cost $5 to make, so be it. It is more like $3 and $2 of tax, but let’s go with that. if the EV cost $30k, fine…but it didn’t. it cost $50k and government used the $2 they stole from the gas users to subsidize. An even playing field is all I ask.
  20. True. I have a very fuel efficient motorcycle that I drive to save fuel. Still doesn’t explain away how Ev sales fuck the ass of the general public, using the long cold penis of government. You strike me as the type that wouldn’t even offer a reach around
  21. How exactly does someone buy gas for less? I know how someone buys an Ev for less, they get government to fuck every one else over and steal their money
  22. Do you get pleasure from the suffering of others? Will you be happy too, when a loaf of bread is $50 and a gallon of milk $100? Unlike your miserable attitude, I wish electric cars were 10K and a kwh 5 cents. I want people to be able to afford more, not less. Canada, only 6 cents more than Ukraine...a fucking war zone. The taxes we pay on gas is almost half the cost. The peasants need to be more revolting.
  23. Unfortunately, there are many who think that is a strong leader. Those that worship Justin Trudope fine examples. Some of the laws he has passed would make Putin blush.
