  1. To be perfectly honest, no one knows yet. Both levels of gov't are lagging behind on policies, legislation etc.. There was no framework or even any strategy when JT and the liberals announced that they would legalize. Everyone involved has been playing catchup ever since. So far really distribution has been looked at. The impaired by drugs driving is an issue that is of concern and that's the main focus right now. Truthfully? Your guess is as good as anyone's right now.
  2. There is no specific "pass on ramp" but could charge with "pass on right - not in safety" or could stretch it and go with "pass - off roadway" and hope the justice agrees with the interpretation.
  3. Looks great!!!! Glad it all came together for you!
  4. LOL!! OMFG!! Forgot about this show!!!

    Snow Tires

My new Ridgeline shows individual tire pressures and highlights if one is low. Love having it really.
  6. Was on duty but was able to attend the main one as well as the special Naval ones in Kingston. My step daughter and step son are both Naval Reservists. Very proud of them. Missing my good friend posted overseas as well. Thanks you to all who served, continue to serve. Lest we forget...

    Snow Tires

There is a huge Goodyear plant in my town. I know quite a few of the employees, and despite getting a massive discount they never buy Goodyear. They won't really say anything bad about the tires...they just won't buy them.. Always found it interesting. My own experience with Goodyear...not Duratrac has been decent tire but poor tread life. Best tread life I've ever seen came from a set of Michelins on my 2008 Ridgeline. They were the OEM tires and actually had good tread through 164000km!!!!!!!! Had to replace as the rubber was just too hard and glazing.

    Snow Tires

I downsized from 18 to 17s for the winter. Saved a fair bit just with that. I ended up finding my best overall value at my dealer surprisingly. Toyo's on new steel rims WITH the TPMS. Drove away $1523 all in.
  9. Yay us!!! Thinking you should change "Current Events" to "Trump away!"..... just saying.....
  10. Movie... No plates on it.. Usually when out of province forces come here for business its done in plain cars or a flight/rental car deal.

    Snow Tires

Ended up gong back to my dealer.. Getting the G3-ICE, rims and TPMS... I agree you don't really need it.. BUT... my wife runs winters on her Mazda C5 without them and the fking light drives me nuts!!!!! Edit: They waived summer tire storage fees and another 10% on next oil change. Looked around at many sites and chatted with friends. Seems odd but The dealer had some of the best prices all around...
  14. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good for you!!! She will adapt to her new surroundings and will soon be very grateful for her new home and family. Dogs are awesome AF!!!!!!

    Snow Tires

Oh... My last Ridgeline I ran the Nokian all weather/winter rated tires. Little bit louder than the factory Michelins and bit shorter life span but great tire for the price.

    Snow Tires

Anyone have any experience with Toyos? Specifically the Observe G3-ICE? Have package deal 245/65R/17 $1528 all in and mounted with black steel rims through my Honda dealer (includes TPMS sensors)
  18. Any chase that will endanger public and/or the "bad guy" and/or the officer is called off 99% of the time. It is rare that bikes are pursued.. But these days that's not always necessary. just look at the idiots in Toronto on the hwy causing issues.. Many were found and charged.
  19. Wish I had a more definitive answer for you guys... Hopefully the issue(s) will be resolved soon.
  20. No, those do not appear on your drivers abstract. They would only affect your licence should you choose not to pay , in which case they may suspend it.
  21. Just like the others have said... wait for your record to clear up. If you want a bike...get anything but a sportbike, add minimum/basic insurance and build a history with it. I sold my ZX10 to a guy few years ago... he was 35 but couple tickets. Just found he sold it because they wanted $7k/yr. I thought I was high at $1100. Please don't ride without insurance. Nothing good will come of that. Start with the $5000 fine, plus tickets for whatever got you pulled over. It will be decades before you any sort of reasonable insurance rate again. Plus...should you crash and hit someone they will sue and without your insurance absorbing most of that you will be paying for life... Wages will garnisheed for ages, you'll never get ahead. And yes, I know riders often from police and avoid getting caught...but if you are following the Toronto news recently you will see quite a few that this didn't work for. Just my $0.02. You've been given advice from some very experienced people on here that have been dealing with insurance and vehicles of all sorts for years. They have the wisdom of years and trial and error. You'd do well to heed their words. Sean
  22. Soooo... This turned out to be incredibly complicated. I finally dug up a number for OFSC (almost impossible). I spoke to their government programs/enforcement guru. The first most bold point he made was the OFSC has nothing to do with grooming or any sort of trail management/issue. He further made it clear the OFSC is an "umbrella corporation" spate from the clubs. As I dug deeper here is what I've found...brace yourselves... Some clubs still have forms of the land user permit (LUP) but this depends greatly on the individual clubs AND the MNR district in which they reside. So for example, OFSC District 2. The L and A Ridge Runners may have an LUP in place but the Bancroft area club may not. What seems to be happening is that the MNR is distancing itself from any form of restricted/regulated access on Crown land. This has an effect of reducing enforcement opportunities when it comes to keeping ATVs off trails within crown land areas. I know that really doesn't completely answer the question on any sort of larger scale area...but it's the best I've got for now. There is a stakeholder meeting soon.. MTO/OPP etc to discuss bringing the MSVA and the ORVA act more in line with each other and perhaps something will come from that. Sorry guys!!!
  23. I've seen many points made without insults. And I've been called much worse by better. And I do believe you are extremely afraid. You've not made a single intelligent point or argument. You spew the same tired whiny insults every time. The keyboard is your safe space and you and others of your ilk hide behind it slinging garbage and insults towards anyone with an opposing viewpoint. If you stopped acting like a little boy hiding behind his mommys skirt I would gladly have an intelligent discourse with you. Really Ben. At least work on some fresh insults....
  24. Very much so.... Its quite obvious. Its ok though. The name calling helps ease it I bet.
