  1. Milwaukee. Makita was the choice in the past but they seem to have gone down hill in my opinion.
  2. I didn't get an email from Polaris either. Checked with my dealer who had no information. Now I'm wondering does Polaris have my order. I called their support line and talked to a customer rep who couldn't help me. She created a case # and within a half hour I got a call from a rep in the snow division. With the information i gave on my initial call the snow division guy had my order up on his screen and went thru all the details of my order (129 XCR 850). Said it would arrive at the dealer by Dec 15 either complete or with parts to be shipped later. You could always give them a call, pretty impressed that I had a response within a half hour.
  3. Don't see your vote on this poll Crnr. A while back you were were debating an XCR. Nothing here you would like to slam in that
  4. I like your "Current Sled" description, got a good chuckle out of that. And i have to admit this fellow is a little more polished than the lady who did the Cat Promo you posted a while back
  5. I lasted 5 minutes. At the 2 minute and 25 second mark I kid you not i had a mouth full of coffee that partially came out thru my nose. One of the best comedies I have watched in a while, well at least for 5 minutes I could bare. You Cat guys are in big trouble
  6. First and last was my 96 Storm, as I said cold seize, my fault. I suppose if I was a Cat guy I would be able to make a list
  7. 96 800 Storm, my fault, cold seize. And my dealer got it fixed under warranty and it was out of warranty. The only engine i've ever popped. And i have owned 27 in my career
  8. Looks to me like there could be some interesting new color schemes (something new in the works) for Cat over the next few years. That should bring the flock back.
  9. The next sled after my TX was a 1980 TXL 340. Really liked that one
  10. Nice to see. So all 10 lumber wagons got sold
  11. You'll be waiting a long long time
  12. I'm guessing weight and range is pathetic, otherwise it would have been mentioned. Might be a good sled to run to the beer store on, providing it's within 10 minutes. BRP reports they will invest $ 300 million into product electrification. Doubt that is close to enough needed.
  13. Based on what Cat released this year thought they'd already gone out of business. The models I saw looked like 2012's.
  14. Brings back good memories of my XCR days
  15. Be a small bump, they were actually smart enough to limit the build
  16. I see a few XCR's in there with maybe your name on it. Would certainly be a monster step up based on what you have now.
  17. Did you miss me. Are you checking an XCR this year, I did
  18. Woody Gold Diggers, have been using them on all my sleds since late 90's. On my triple XCR's I ran inside and outside of rails and never a problem. With the twins have been just running inside the rails, again never a problem.
  19. Shell in Ontario still no ethanol in premium. I will be hooped if they change, my 300xs needs ethanol free, at least with the sleds you can run ethanol mode.
  20. Went with the 850 XCR 128 red, black tunnel, red rails with 1.35 cobra, 7s ride command and wimp start
  21. I liked my Baler. Had 3 of them. Hope what i have chosen for 2022 does not disappoint me
  22. I do miss the posts the Cat HC would post about the Poo issues, given the perfection of the Cat product. Oops coffee spray on the keyboard. Personally i have never owned a Poo product that caught fire and i have owned plenty, touch wood.
  23. Does the Polaris stuff still catch fire. Without the Polaris Negative news and Recalls posted by the Cat head cheer leader I wouldn't know
