  1. I don’t think it’s a HUGE disappointment IF they make the 178-180hp they’re supposed to and run well/reliably. No turbo is a kick in the balls for the mountain guys again but at least they have a big stupid gauge now.
  2. Arctic cat needs some talking heads that aren’t complete dorks.
  3. I wonder if the blast gets a power bump to 429 now
  4. Granted my sled was fucked up all last winter the Polaris’s had like 18mph on me and 7-8mph on the properly running RXCs. And there was a lot of long straights on the tracks last year. Idk if you saw it but Justin got a local central NY club to build an 8 mile terrain track on their property.
  5. The drive blows from NY and the west side of the New England states though. I could be where I rode in QC in a little over 3 hours all highway, get on the highway, get off in Trois Rivieres and the hotel was across the street from the off ramp. We went to Pittsburg for a weekend when the border was closed and I was thoroughly unimpressed, shoulda drove the extra couple hours to maine.
  6. That’s for non residents, covers liability insurance on your sled and I’m pretty sure medical insurance for people not from Canada. They’re never rough, they’re actually marked properly and they’re constantly grooming. It’s definitely a decent chunk of change but I think the Maine and vermont passes are around 200 and I’ve never ridden maine but Vermont blows. Quebec is definitely the only option for people from NY/PA/NJ/Mass if you want to go somewhere. Where I used to go in Quebec you’d be lucky to pass 50 people in an 800 mile weekend
  7. Still $300 American, I’d rather pay $500 on a Quebec pass than $3 for a VAST pass.
  8. I have an extra sled my fiance never rides at the foothills of tug hill if he ever wants to get crazy and ride twice a year. Epping isn’t far from him if he wants a show like that, I went last year and I wouldn’t go again though 😂
  9. The few PC I’ve seen with wadded bulkheads you couldn’t have convinced me they were bent if they didn’t have front suspension on them. After @krom showed me what to look for they’re easy to spot you just have to look for a ding in the right spot.
  10. They were using billet cylinders for big block testing last I knew from a few sources so unless it’s just different injection I’d assume there’s also a bore change. But I’d imagine after being so late to the 850 party maybe they’ll try to get in on the 650-700 game on time since they already have shit in development
  11. But 4 less cm^3
  12. My 18 was flawless for 2400 miles in a season and a 1/4. My buddies 19 caught on fire 4 times a ride and the dumb fuck put it out every time. My 22 RR was fine for the 500ish miles I put on it an my buddies runs like a smashed ass since it was new. So I’ve been lucky but yea there’s definitely no in between
  13. I did try to give him my snowcheck vin to switch over to race dept pricing but that wouldn’t fly either 😂. He did make it sound like things maybe getting ready to change for the better but not this year 🤷🏻‍♂️
  14. Mike Kloetys rejection email to me for an RXC made it sound like there isn’t much promise in the cat racing world. But at least the guy on trail riders bitching about the seat on the RXC compared to his 2019 pantera will get his cross country sled.
  15. It sure seems like all of them around here. The club I was a part of until I moved was always like that and now I can go up there and ride and actually talk to someone friendly in the clubhouse if I stop which is a nice change of pace. I tried helping a few other clubs who’s trails I generally ride from home last year after some big storms when they’re asking for help and you reach out with nothing in return then read the comments on the post of 30 other people that tried and were ignored. My fiancé runs the club I’m a part of because nobody else wanted to and that’s how all the positions there are, they don’t want to do it but they don’t want some eager outsider in there doing it either.
  16. Nobody wanted to vote for Biden last time but trump pushed a fuck ton of people (a lot that probably wouldn’t have otherwise voted) to do so. Were we doing alright under trump? Yes. Did I vote for trump? Yes. Is he gonna win if he runs again? No. I’m not following any media narrative I’m following observation and common sense. Trump was too stupid to let himself cruise to victory in 2020 and he hasn’t gotten any smarter. The GOP strategist post had me laughing too. All the GOP knows how to do is lose the unloseable so why the fuck would we listen to them.
  17. The biggest problem with EVERY snowmobile club is that they’re good old boy clubs. They bitch about not having help but don’t want the help that’s offered unless it’s their buddies. The “trail boss” for the local club I’m a part of is a perfect example, he’ll bitch all year long about no help clearing and signing trails then when it’s time to do the work and a volunteer weekend is brought up he wants to be selective and only have the 4 guys he’s known since he was 12 go out and help him and drink beer and bullshit all day.
  18. It’s crazy that the diehard trump idiots still don’t realize that a Trump primary win guarantees another 4 years of Biden. I think if Trump pulls out then Biden does too and we all win. The lord and savior Donald trump fucked us all just as hard as Biden has just by letting his ego and stupid mouth put Biden into office.
  19. At the end of the day Dynoport is the only thing even worth running. Rich doesn’t let racers use track stands at his event because a lot of them run dynoport pipes and they’ll blow the tracks to pieces in a blip of the throttle. Don’t believe me? Just ask him
  20. I believe they are approved, they’re definitely as quite or maybe even quieter than stock and fuck are those things light.
  21. If they want to put a serious dent in anyone’s sales (which they should) they need to have more than 3 demo rides in very specific locations a year. I also ordered 2 catalysts but that doesn’t mean they’re building enough of them to matter in the grand scheme of things, I bet ski Doo sold about as many neos this year.
  22. Who gets more production time this year them or Yamaha?
  23. People forget about hype real quick especially when it wasn’t tangible last winter and you won’t be able to ride one unless your buddy was one of 300 people to actually get their order filled on one. They need all the hype they can get.
  24. Release the new motor at haydays and have one ready to run trail stock 850 if they have any balls, marketing sense or confidence in it. (I know they won’t and no company would but fuck they need to do something to make a splash.)
  25. @kromget Matt to bring the RXC over like he was supposed to months ago and I’ll bring my RXC and race scales over to do a side by side comparison on them.
