I talked my girlfriend into an eco diesel GC to replace her 4 door wrangler (the worlds most awful vehicle) it’s loaded up with all the bells and whistles and is probably one of the nicest vehicles I’ve been in. I’ve towed my sleds and my trans am on a car trailer with it. It’s got auto load level which I believe all the higher end packages do and is rated at 7500 I think the gas units are rated at like 72 with the auto level. Like deep haven said it definitely seems a little light on brakes when towing heavier things but it’s stable and does a good job other than that, obviously the diesel helps in towing so can’t say how the gas v6 does. I’m pretty sure the grand Cherokee L like you’re talking about is 100% a rebumpered Durango so I would get some opinions on them to for a real world review.

Wait for your snow check sled or bail out ?
Palu49 replied to Doug's topic in General Snowmobile Forum
I ordered my Cat the first day I could and got it in September. I know people who ordered the same model that have early January expected dates. I ordered my dads sled a week or two later and his was in before mine (his is a limited not RR). All 600s are end of January. If I had ordered a 600 I’d probably bail or see if I could just roll it over to next year since the money’s been spent for so long. -
Snow trackers and c&a’s weigh the front down to make stay planted and corner better idk what you’re talking about.

Just got in from walking the dog in 2” of slushy snow with my crocs. Feet got a little wet and cold but other than that they performed flawlessly. There’s not a more versatile or better shoe on the market. I even filled my rifle season buck tag in crocs a couple weeks ago. Hopefully I get 2 new pairs for Christmas again this year, my current two are racing slicks on the bottom.

You sold that thing way too cheap even in a regular market. There is 2 19 6000 Limited cats on marketplace by me right now for over 11k. Both have 2xxx miles, makes me really wonder if I need to keep the one I bought for my gf with 1400 miles on it 😂

I have a black one in stock I gotta get the green one ordered and see which I really prefer. Boy do these Rox look goofy as fuck from the wrong angle. Been home with Covid for over a week now. The girlfriend had to wait for like day 7 to get it so we’ll be at 18 days locked up until I can go back to work. Shoulda ordered my studs and had them done, now they won’t be here till next week.

Then that fucker will hop a coke can on the street with uniroyal tiger paws….. 🙄 Still makes me laugh when people praise huge cubic inch slugs that most modern 4 cylinders would absolutely smoke. Especially after having my hands in 2 428CJ projects. That being said electric powered is not for me at least at this time. I feel it just lacks the soul of an internal combustion engine. BUT the shit they do with them is seriously impressive and the power on demand is something we can all appreciate.

New York is a great state if you’re into nothing fun. I got a loud exhaust ticket in my $500 accord because my flex pipe rotted in half, got pulled over about 7 miles after it gave out over a bridge expansion joint. I’ve also been let go for loud exhaust in my ws6 that has 3” true duals with 3.5” bullet mufflers after getting on it hard in second getting on the highway. Had my windows up that time and also got warned about my tint but no tickets. Like all those revenue laws though it’s gonna be whether you get a cop that had friends in middle school or got beat up a lot whether you get stopped at all or ticketed when you do.

I remember he did pretty decent at x games one year on the nytro too. Cory Davis was with yammi in those years before he went to CBR as well. I remember some hillbilly with a nytro in freestyle at the Xgames doing some sort of off camber backflip on it.

Didn’t they used to make like high 140s pretty religiously? And the mods like 160s? I honestly don't know shit about race sleds or what the rules are like now but that seems low from what I would’ve imagined.

Ahh can’t forget the old “I can get the same sled for this price so that’s what you should take” people too. Had one of those on my 18 limited 800. Actually his argument was I can get the same sled for 5500 but I’ll give you 6 for yours. Told him he better go get that other one. Sold the sled for 8500 while he was telling me how I’d be lucky to get 55.

The 22 flash is approved by the epa now (this week) and will be available in a couple weeks. As far as the 18 I wouldn’t worry about flashing it if it doesn’t have flame thrower tendencies. I never had my 18 reflashed and it was fine.

It’s honestly scary riding I just about wipe out every stake with my right ski because I see how many people are 10 feet from the left side on a 60 foot wide trail. Hell even the ones with a stake in the middle you see people on the wrong side of it. The craziest thing is it’s almost never the people riding hard that you have to be scared of.
-
One of them is a very good rider but won’t get rid of his dumbass assault for an XCR. The rest of them I don't ride with anymore. I moved from an area with real tight woods trails to a place with mostly fields and some seasonal roads and boy are the people out here scary to ride with. They all get mad at me calling me a snob and shit but I cannot ride with people who can’t stay on their side of a 60 foot wide trail through a field. I just don’t have any interest in being with them when that leads to coming over a hill to meet some mom and kid on a two up head on.

I have Milwaukee and use dewalt from time to time at a shop I work at. Like a few people said the Milwaukee ratchets are a lifesaver for a lot of stuff. I have both 3/8 ratchets and find myself using the regular one a lot more than the high torque or whatever it’s called because it fits in a lot more places. I think as far as the smaller “impacts” and bit drivers they’re both about the same and both work very well comparing the dewalt and Milwaukee. I worked at a generator company for about a year and we had all Milwaukee shit, seemingly everything they made. Everything worked as good as anything corded I’ve ever used but the drills did seem to eat up chucks semi regularly although we weren’t the easiest on them. I left my fuel 1/2” impact at my buddies shop like 6 months ago and he’s adopted it as his preferred impact over his snap on 1/2”

That’s mainly why I never changed mine before. My 19 limited 600 is on rails and I just had a cheap set of Cat branded 6 or 8” woodys on it (I believe woodys makes the cat ones they may be stud boy) and set it up how I’d normally set my RRs up. On the tight twisties around home my buddies would pull away from me like freight trains on their 800s and 850s out of corners and I’d just about run in the back of them through the next corner until they pulled away again.
