  1. Yeah, was just responding to the request for even one production vehicle with it on from the factory. I just remember reading about the car years back and not much more.
  2. Perhaps but maybe if you put race gas in the water tank it will improve performance enough to keep up with a boost.
  3. I had to google it. 2016 BMW M4 GTS.
  4. 4 Stroke Normalized Gade is now $22K with a windshield and other adds. That's a lot of cheese. Going to keep my 2020 for a bit longer.
  5. Only $23K with a useable windshield, adjustable riser and a few other goodies added....
  6. Or it could be that BRP is always a bit conservative when stating spec sheet HP. It's to work people up that get bent out of shape over spec sheet numbers. The only test for this new factory water injected oil burner with a hair dryer and launch control is to line it up against the Boost. See which one wins. There should be a shit ton of videos coming soon to a youtube channel near you.
  7. BMW comes to mind although cannot remember what year that was. Definitely in the last decade....
  8. Send BRP your resume. I am sure Rotax could use your assistance designing 2 stroke turbo engines and making them perform better and more reliably.
  9. Remember. It does not even have a turbo.... It does have launch control though.
  10. It's only injecting after 10 or 12 seconds of WFO. If you are running a lot of long grades and miles at WOT buy a fucking turbo 4 stroke and leave the smoker at home. This is for hero runs on dick measuring days after too many beers at the bar and your buddy with the Boost lips off. Best of 3 WOT runs back to back. After the 1st run he will see nothing but those two or three snow flaps out front.
  11. Water injection with turbo systems is far from brand new technology, it's just new for snowmobiles. The tank is under the seat at the back and it only uses water when there is a long WOT pull. Riders like dumstad will never use any so the one fill they get from the dealer will last forever....
  12. Finally, I know how to pronounce Lynx properly. It's LOOOONX.
  13. It's not a turbo, just a normalizer for flatlanders.
  14. I did not have time to watch but it must have been quite the year for changes, updates and additions to get so many panties in a wad... On pins and needles waiting for all that new stuff Textron is about to announce. Should be epic and most of all game changing.
  15. And IL and IA and anywhere else when this is the only place that has rideable snow...... But yeah, it's a shithole.... Oh and stay on the marked trails or stay the fuck home...
  16. We cancelled our ride due to trails being wrecked last week from rain and warm temps. It was definitely bad timing for the event.
  17. Yes, complete shit hole with 25,000 miles of maintained snowmobile trails that the majority of is across privately owned property. The state and federal land that I am familiar with has designated maintained trails and off trail is not permitted. Sure you can ride the forest roads but exactly what is the fucking point of riding on a graded road that ends at a paved road vs riding on a maintained trail? In Northern WI the UP is close for those that want to find legal off trail.
  18. BRP puts all of their factory promotions and rebates on the website. Always has. Local dealerships? Definitely could be. They can sell the sleds for whatever they want. Bottom line is this is a great thing for sledders and hardly anything new for BRP. It would happen every season prior to the parts shortage. At any rate, they are offering rebates on Can Am products and here they are on the website....
  19. There is no legal off trail riding for the public in WI other than ditches and right of way's and there are rules and limitations on that as well.
  20. Interesting that the data for all of these studies comes from the University of WI Population Health Institute. Do counties in all states collect this data in the same way? Anecdotally people in WI drink and don't give a shit who knows about it. I've worked all over the place. People are drinking everywhere and in every state I have ever been in and I just don't see a lot of stark contrasts. Whether the data is accurate or not it seems Wisconsinites can drink and drive without getting themselves killed as often. Fatal car accidents seem far more prevalent in states with fewer drinkers (at least according to their stats anyway). And don't tell me that it's because WI is mostly rural when states like Montana and N and S Dakota have far higher rates. There must be something to having a couple of drinks before going out for some practice with the driver instructor in high school.
  21. This is the only US offer I am seeing from Doo and it does not include any rebates.... But, how would this be a bad thing anyway? Rebates were something everyone looked forward to pre-scamdemic and Doo always started offering them in early January. As a consumer getting back to dealers having excess inventory and factory rebates is a sign of getting back to some sort of normal market conditions. I'm sick and fucking tired of the situation where you are begging a dealer for a chance at a Spring order at full MSRP and that MSRP is fucking $20K plus. That shit needs to be done. I'm not surprised Cat has zero inventory. You have to build sleds to have them sitting in inventory.
  22. That LT6 sounds so fucking sweet. I could care less what it runs the quarter in. I'm buying one just for the noise it makes.
  23. I really wouldn't worry about streaming. Just buy the TV that makes the most sense to you. I currently have 4 Samsung's running the same Tizen OS and they all connect to WIFI and stream seamlessly. I have a box full of Roku's and Fire Sticks that are no longer in use. If there is an issue you can just connect a Roku or any other streaming device anyway so this should not be a consideration when purchasing a new TV these days.
