I see it as bad on two levels. The female in charge has no background in sleds. She's from the aviation side. The other is that all new tech is developed and tested years in advance. If the old dogs were let go because there was nothing significant in the hopper it will take years to recover from that. It's always possible Cat was sitting a boatload of new and improved designs and did not release them but most people knowing their jobs were on the line would have pushed the shit out the door in an attempt to save them.

Due to lumber prices the pole building that was just completed for me had a price increase on it of 18%. The contractor I booked the build with last fall was booked through this year. when I asked if the price hikes were impacting his business he said not at all. He said he could double his prices and customers wouldn't care. He is now taking orders for build in 2023. There is a shitload of cash out there and people are spending it like water. Normally when inflation hits people stop spending. That's not happening.

Something to the effect that a compass will not be proof enough, or even people standing on the ground looking at the direction the aircraft is travelling from and to will not be proof enough or even that what they are seeing and could be proving as real is still somehow all fake..... Have you ever talked to someone that had a family member that had been brainwashed and indocrinated into a cult? It is nearly impossible to get them to leave and deprogrammed from the cult. The majority will agree to kill themselves (if instructed by their leaders) before leaving voluntarily.

It's obvious that you could send a flat earther into outer space, they could see the curvature of the earth with their own eyes and they would still make up some pseudoscience in an attempt to disprove the actual personal experience....
