  1. Good Saturday morning entertainment.
  2. Its gotta suck knowing your job will be eliminated, you just dont know if its next week or next year. I feel bad for Jeriad. lol Of course he's got a funny accent, maybe some canuk company will give him a job if he brings some insider power steering info......haha
  3. yeah I was there. You were at your prime in the HCS days I was SRT20 on there then.
  4. I missed your incoherent ways to solve problems is all. Welcome back! I assume you are not in prison since you are on here?
  5. Will the real COD nerd please stand up
  6. Personally I'd much rather have a 136" for trail. Isn't the Assault 146 uncoupled? I dont want that for a trail sled. I think the 144 is coupled, though? I dont keep track anymore. But I also agree with the wider pitch being a little better, though I dont think its a huge deal, I'd rather have a coupled skid. A bud has a 146 SKS and says its real good on trails. Of course I haven't met to many people that said the $12k sled they bought rides like shit.....
  7. Never understood brand loyalty Why limit yourself to an inferior product just because you "have always had a"..... Would skip that perfect prime rib because its not at McDonalds???
  8. Not sure how much long the cow will be producing.... TBH I dont even know where the nearest Cat dealer is? And I live in SE WI. And I see very few AC sleds out west, even with the Alpha that was supposed to be the next big thing. I dont really trail ride much anymore, but the few times I was able to ride from home this year, I didn't see hardly any trail AC either. I would hate to see them go away. Poo and Doo will just build shittier shit for more $$$$$$.
  9. Is that the answer to both questions? I need a little more here...this aint final jeopardy!
  10. The real question is, when will Textron dump the sled division? What will Yamahaha do then?
  11. LMAO Look at clusterfuck mess of wires and cables on the handlebars!! More 3rd grade engineering!!
  12. Holy christ. Yeah ok. The clutching god was right.....
  13. At 10K feet?? Come on man, you know this... A big bore with big fucking slugs banging up and down more reliable than a turbo?? Aren't you a auto tech or something?? Come on!
  14. Not sure. Depends on their sponsor agreements.
  15. Thats simply just not true. Do I think those guys helped Poo design a turbo system? I imagine they did. They all use BD, which IMO is the cream of the crop for Poo sleds. Why not mimic it, or better yet, more low end snap, less high rpm HP. Sounds perfect for the masses. 9LBS at 10K with no Avgas. Thats probably 185-195hp. At 10K feet. Aint no BB with twins even coming close to that. The guys that want big power are still going to buy BD, Silber, etc. They all build multiple sleds per year. Not sure where you are going with that...
  16. I ride out west at least 25 days a winter at different areas. There is by far way more turbos than twin pipes, like 5 to 1. And big bores are a thing of the past in mtns. Some might do it yet, but turbos are close to same price for much more power.
  17. Actually, there is more and more aftermarket turbos. Silber, MTNTech, and others have finally gotten closer to Boondocker reliability and power. And they are cheaper. But IMO they are not better, yet.
  18. Now Im positive you are not just trolling, you really dont know what your talking about....
  19. haha you clearly dont know what your talking about
  20. Yep Polaris fucked up when they designed the 800s. Common knowledge.
  21. He did get banned last time. He's like frankie, gets banned from every fuckin forum on the internets and 4 months later he's on every fuckin forum on the internets again, same fuckin name
  22. You can if you want, but the loss is minimal. Put an extra 25lbs in if it makes you feel better. Not something Ive ever had a problem with.
  23. It doesn't matter. What does matter is maintenance and measuring. Fix kits IMO fix nothing. 2 stroke pistons are a maintenance item.
