Our machine sales immediately go in the tank if there’s even talk of a recession, what keeps us afloat during the tougher sales times is the recurring revenue: parts, service, and paid engineering. In the Midwest alone we have over 60 service techs. Our company wants to push quality and fast response in our service department, not only for our machines, but for competitors equipment as well. We’re probably one of the best distributors in the country for servicing broken/down equipment as far as response times are concerned.

Our company just had a great month, selling over 30 mills and lathes just here in the Midwest. We’re talking high end/big dollar machines. Capital equipment is being purchased at a fairly consistent rate, so from my side of things im not seeing a recession at all locally.
