  1. It was my first sled. Always wanted a mint one. I’d honestly rather ride it on a week long trip then open my legs up to ride a procross
  2. I mean with the offerings from Polaris and ski doo these days, who in their right mind would buy an arctic cat or Yamaha for any other reason besides pure brand bias or to buy a thundercat/sidewinder? If you buy a 600 or 800 ctec, you gotta be out of your damn mind, knowing that you are immediately subjected to last place finishes in every category other than looks. @f7ben
  3. I mean if blown belts, shit clutches, poor QC, 600cc class 800 performance, jackshaft issues, air box issues, track alignment problems, etc are your thing then yah they’re great. Good looking sleds, arguably the best looking machines on snow, but they have the reputation of a fusion at this point.
  4. I’d rather own the Yamaha procross than an arctic cat. Both are junk though.
  5. Old and new for me. Best of both worlds. I seriously think my 91 Indy 500 may be the cleanest unrestored one out there. Definitely that I have seen, at least. All original except the wilwood master cylinder I just put on, new studs, windshield, and SS brake line/pads. It’s pretty damn mint. Not more than a scratch and the original seat looks showroom. Pretty rare for a wedge.
  6. Shorty or switchback? Either way you won’t be disappointed. I found a screaming deal and got mine with a 3 year bumper to bumper for $9500 otd. Had 800 miles on it, it was a sled mag review sled. Probably why it runs like a raped ape, they broke the fucker in right.
  7. 2017, first year of the xcr comeback in the rush Axys chassis. It’s an amazing sled. It does everything well and fits me perfectly (6’3” 205). I can’t say enough good things about the Axys chassis and that 800 motor.
  8. KM are ghey bro. The 6.2 however is not.
  9. Well duh. thats how it works right?
  10. I haven’t come across a procross or doo that can beat my xcr 800 matter of of fact I’d challenge any bone stock sled to try and beat my xcr out of the hole, it ain’t gunna happen.
  11. The 15 and up poo 800ho has been rock solid. Absolutely 100x better than the previous 800 liberty.
  12. I like riding at night, not being limited to day time riding. Ride some Midwest trails, they’re fun.
  13. What good does a rolling chassis do you on the trail anyways? Fucking cats.
  14. If @f7ben can ride an Axys and not total it, Id say that’s the toughest chassis in the business. We all know doos can fold up like tin cans at any given moment.
  15. That skid could be the best mountain suspension in the business, but it’s still a fucking arctic cat with an underwhelming 800 motor, shit chassis, and poor build quality/QC
  16. I disagree. The 800 HO motor only vibrates at idle, I can’t think of a single time in 2000 miles that I noticed engine vibration while riding on my 2017 800. I also came off of riding a 600 etec which was dead smooth.
  17. Its not even an Axys bro. Gods gift to sleds if you’ve ever ridden one. You’re probably used to busted s modules.
  18. Nice sled! Congrats man! Get a grip and rip Brace kit for the s mod though Jim like I mentioned earlier. Just my opinion. Here is the bundle. S mod and upper a arm braces. http://www.gripnripracing.com/index.php?id_product=166&controller=product
  19. The 800 is awesome. Congrats! Enjoy man.
  20. Broken in 6.2 nets me around 20-22 highway. I’ve been doing around 80-85 getting that and the 6.2 cruises around 1800-1900 rpm, never downshifts.
