  1. Then don't put "At an acceptable level" in your advertising. They also didn’t like that response.
  2. Same here with FB. Bikeman got sick of me asking what test they did that their cans were at an acceptable level on the trails. Never once did they take me up on an offer to talk to our landowners and answer the questions when I'd get asked how come some sleds are loud and wake them up. All of a sudden I can nolonger access that page
  3. I think this is the link. Let me know if it's not. https://wwgw.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100042580994749&mibextid=ZbWKwL
  4. I use to do FEA for heavy plate weld fixture I designed. Where the cover will flex on the Arctic Cat clutch IF it does will be between the spring bucket and the narrow section between the towers. The P22 has a wider cross section on the cover all the way out to where it bolts to the cover
  5. A rib between the towers supports would tie the towers together and spread the load between all the towers evenly.
  6. Tricky Ricky recommends a powerbloc. Oh and he happens to sell them
  7. We had a lot of trouble breaking them as they got worn down. Even came up with a formed plate of AR material we would weld them up to bring them back to the original height and those held up a lot better. Cleats do have better traction in the snow unless you spin them out and bury yourself as I did in one of my previous post in this thread. I had the drag full of snow trying to fill a ditch down further and started to spin but couldn't raise the drag fast enough to dump the snow.
  8. Looking at the cleated track on the Piston Bully brings back bad memories of our old LMC
  9. Yes seems to be more to the story. Thought she also did a good job. Ran into her on occasion at the motel. Originally from Wisconsin.
  10. Looks like everybody has had their hugs and kisses on this thread. Time to move on
  11. Top it off with " trail friendly cans" that slow the sleds down with backpacks and a shovel.
  12. If you ride with the guys you'll miss the top end performance. Even in retirement Guy in our group had a 900 ace and is now back on a 850. Polaris 4st turbo I'd have to ride one before I buy one. For my wife would be good for me not yet,
  13. For my wife it would work out great. For me no. If your a semi aggressive or aggressive rider that weight has to show up somewhere. Performance wise I need something with good pull over 75 MPH and by adding a turbo which will probably come with in intercooler just adds weight and complexity. I'm good with a N/A 850 or 900 next year.
  14. Yes that is crazy amount. The back story better be impressive for that sled. Back in the late 80's a guy had one locally and ran radar runs with it. That sled came by way of Donahue motor sports in Wisconsin Rapids Wisconsin but not sure where they got it. May have been Bobby Donahue's sled or his connection with Yamaha
  15. We had a demo last year and put on about 200 miles with me 20 miles and wife the rest. I was really surprised that the sled didn't feel like a heavy 4 stroke and is well balanced. The plan was for me to ride it because it came in late and my dealer was looking to put some miles on it but after my wife rode it she preferred that over a 2022 XCR. Think the added weight and centrally balanced it held the trail better where she didn't have to do any leaning or body input for it to handle in the corners. It has good low and mid range speed but tops out mid to low 70's which was fine for my wife. The electric throttle is very easy to work which was a plus for her but takes a little getting use to. There is a split second delay when you take off but after riding you get use to it. Overall it reminded me of a 600 sled without the top end speed. It does not feel like a heavy 4 stroke. If you get it stuck I'm sure it would. My wife wanted to get one for her but I hand my sleds down to her for the 2nd year and occasionally ride it so I overruled that.
