  1. No, it was a factory demo sled I shit you not.
  2. So will people even order 23 models knowing the same thing is gonna happen next year?! Also, is Cat going to push off the new chassis another year due to supply issues?
  3. Thunder Products Clutching rebuilds them. Terry is terrific to deal with.
  4. Holes were already there.
  5. OK quick update. Pulled suspension out to look it over again and noticed that I had limiter straps over the front crossbar. I had taken the crossbar out - only then realizing I did not have to. Must have been late night when I put those on. Either way just wanted to update you all and thank you for your help figuring it out.
  6. So is my pivot for the rear shock in correct position? According to the schematic it is buut when I look at other suspension pics I question if it is.
  7. Here's some pics to see if any of you notice something maybe connected wrong. I'm still a bit baffled.
  8. Hey all, I reinstalled my rear skid after getting shocks rebuilt but the front of my track is pretty high in the air. Would it just be that the limiter straps need adjusting? They are at same hole I had before shock rebuild. Just seeing what you guys think?
  9. At Hay Days the guy at BD booth said you could use a different bigger tank so it must be possible. But ya is it worth it just to avoid some rubbing, probably not. However, it sure does free up some space and weight if you do.
  10. And here's a 4 quart plastic reservoir that could work instead of the 2 quart. https://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=42938
  11. Black Diamond/SSI also makes an option: http://www.bd-xtreme.com/index.php?id_product=828&controller=product&search_query=oil+tank&results=66
  12. I would never run those. Too much of a chance they get caught on something and send you flying.
  13. remember if Yami sells more sleds Cat makes money...so I guess there's that.
  14. Some of the best things you can buy are not the things that have the most market share. That being said if you have to drive two hours to buy it...that's not that appealing to the majority of people.
  15. Could be more disappointment in Cat from loyalists like myself, than anytime I can remember. And let's not forget that even if some of those complaining would not buy a 2024 - they may eventually buy a new sled and if they aren't excited about anything coming down the pike as a used sled they may jump ship. It's pretty hard watching Textron f*k things up like this. When they first bought Cat they talked about taking over Polaris in the UTV market - I heard it first hand at Hay Days. Textron was so smart too that they thought their name should be on the machines....but a year or two later...they learned the hard way. And since then it seems like they gave up pushing dirt products hard and are settling to just be a Yamaha of the sled market. And that is bullshit imo.
  16. lmao. won't ride another brand. but I don't sit idly by and say "all hail textron" as you do. brand loyal in your mind is don't criticize. not a sheeple sorry.
  17. You literally asked Cat guys why they care so much about what Cat is doing??? WTF kind of question is that?!!!!!!!!!! If no one cared they wouldn't be hoping for Cat to come out with something good every year. Do you frikn understand Cat has had probably the most loyal customer base next to John Deere for the last 60 years?!! Currently Textron is fucking that up and some of us are not happy about it. How is that so hard to understand??? Do you think Cat loyalists just sit mindfully with no opinion about what the brand they love should do?? Your rant above was the stupidest thing someone has said on here.
  18. I agree, the double edge sword or spring order only is that you can't sell sleds when there is snow on the ground. And even having leftovers does allow a manufacturer to get a guy on their brand. No sleds to sell in season means less sales.
  19. https://www.grandforksherald.com/news/government-and-politics/6890530-U.S.-Minnesota-District-Rep.-Michelle-Fischbach-tours-Thief-River-Falls-manufacturing-plants The demand for products made at the Thief River Falls Arctic Cat manufacturing plant – the products include snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles and side-by-sides – is strong, and the company has had to increase production to keep up with it, said Gunnar Kleveland, president and CEO of Textron Specialized Vehicles, the parent company of Arctic Cat.
  20. such an awesome and iconic sled, still to this day!
  21. I would have to agree, it was the 03 F7. Not sure what it was about hat sled but it was damn fast!!!
  22. nice to see this site get going. Will you be able to add the brand forums and subforums?
